looks like they turned away from the flat-3d-world style to jump-n-run in this one. if i get time today i might pickl this up along with another one in here to quickly review it... oi...

EDIT: and too... title screen looks like he shiet into his (non-existing) pants...

Not sure if these will be any good, but I suppose they are worth a look. Maybe I'll like them and buy one of them, two is unlikely though. Is it just that spyro is solely in one of the games and crash is in the other, and the color thing is just gimmicky? Perhaps I'll try the Crash one if that is the case as those are usually better I find. Geez 128 seemed to be the standard almost nowadays. Will need to invest in a bigger card soon I can see.

I think the neo cortex (i think it's him at least) and riptor (sp?) teamed up together to blah blah blah and went after spyro and crash so they teamed up together to stop them and bla blah blah, not the most original story ut it'll have to do.

umpf... short review... because...

it's really nearly the same as the crash counterpart... only with spyro this time doing the main job. otherwise you can take the review from there and you've got what you are looking for.

only differences: the gems are much harde to colled than the fruits in crash and the controls are really crappy compared to crash.

that's why my score is worse for this one:

IMHO, Spyro doesn't belong in side-scroller land. He and his friends are too big, and a dragon just HAS to roam/fly in a wide area.. but I guess I'll still finish this for kicks.

I really like the first boss "duel;" way to start a team-up!

Urgh...now this is just bad. It looks hideous, controls are awkward, background "music" is as tedious as what and it`s even way too simplistic for it`s own good. I`ve liked the Spyro-games so far, but this is...wrong!? Maybe young Spyro-fans will get their kicks out of this one too simply by fan-power, but hopefully/pretty likely not as a game

On of the greater games around, as for now, unless you count mario vs. donkey kong.

If haven't given it a spin, make sure to do so, you won't regret it.

Those mini-games are a blast, especially the one with the tank, sweet !

As for me, i'm stuck with The Chronicles of Riddick : Escape From Butcher Bay (XBOX),

atleast for another 4 hours or so.

Uh...why did they go the mini game route? Is it because fo the Wario Ware success or did they just want to make an "open ending" style of game? Whatever they tried to do with this and Crash kind of dis-appointed me. I was actually looking forward to playing a decent platform game. Guess I have to keep waiting. I guess it's fine for those of you looking for a game in which you have to search for certain items to open a portal in order to play a simple mini game. I find it hard for me to recommend this game if you're a casual gamer looking to re-spark the magic of former Spyro or Crash games. I would recommend it to those of you that are just looking for a game that you can kill some time with and don't necessarily want to play an overly complicated and repetitive platformer. The mini game format is simple and easy to get into and I guess the simplicity of it is what makes me not like it too much. 3/5
