I REALLY don't understand this topic at all.

I could type 100 reasons, but my time is more important so I will give you just 1.

People voting could be getting it wrong, so the polls are irrelevant imho

Anyone reading this please take note that....

The original works.
It works from disc
It works from USB loaders.

In short it works if you can read how.

I like the .gct method best myself.

A GOOD poll would maybe be "How do you choose to get it to work"
- .gct file
- Patch disc
- Modded a loader to patch it

2). Use a medium tricky to pirate.

N64 carttridges, need an explanation?

I think you need a lesson - go and look up Doctor V64 - people were playing games via those on N64 before they were in the shops BITD

Shiiiiit, I forgot about them. I remember getting 'session discs' for these BITD. Awesome piece of kit, well worth the cash.

I know there was still piracy on the N64 but compared to other systems, it was much more difficult and much less appealing to pirate N64 games.

oh really ... I fail to see how downloading a N64Rom and putting on a CD or into a flash cart is any more difficult or tricky than downloading an ISO and putting on an WBFS partition. Compared to what other systems? GameBoy? they had flash carts too - so did GBA and NDS and NDSi - can you see the pattern ? Oh n not forgetting the super famicon floppy disk drive mod

blah blah blah

I hate to flame, but really, take a fucking hike.

Nobody here wants to hear your anti-piracy speeches. this is gbatemp, everyone, apart from the odd wackjob like yourself are pirates. The mods have certain rules to protect them from legal action by copyright holders like Nintendo, but this site is all about piracy. The sponsors are all sellers of flashcards or mod chips. The vast majority of discussion on these boards is about hacking, but more specifically, disc and usb loaders.

Nobody wants to hear about how you don't pirate or why you think people shouldn't pirate. Go post on the official Nintendo boards if you want to rub dicks with people who buy all their games to support poor little Nintendo (who makes hundreds of millions a year).

You have a better chance of making friends and swaying peoples opinions if you go to the PETA board and explain how you love KFC, and wear a baby seal fur coat while eating it, than you do posting your garbage here.

I downloaded the fixed iso from wiiso.

Put it on my usb drive.

Then run it with wiiflow 1.1 with default settings and it works perfectly.

I'm on NTSC -U 4.1

Speech that could get him sued/arrested in 50 states

Address?

I love how confident you are with this. You do realize that Nintendo could never possibly sue even half of the people that pirate? Legal action costs money you know.

I know, thats why they would threaten a settlement and you would send in money so you don't get sued like this guy:

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/07/31/j...d_n_249155.html

A settlement for like 300 dollars in this case per song or such is much better than the likely probability you would be found guilty for this if you were caught.

But, again, it is incredibly unlikely that you'd get their attention from this in the first place.

Why do you think they even have copy protection? It's to try to stop people from pirating, because there is no way in hell they can even get even a small fraction of people sued or penalized in any way for it. The only time you ever do see it is a scare tactic, and even then certain cautions taken by those people would have easily avoided it.

It's a good thing I don't live in any of those 50 states then. However, I think you have swayed my opinion. I feel terrible, and I think I should be punished. Maybe you can convince the State Police to come arrest me in Canada. Here is my name and address.

how can I fix this?

Probably because you're forcing component cables, set your settings to what your Wii is using and make sure you're forcing your native region.
