I would've played this game, but I have a personal grudge against games without a save-function (exceptions like Tetris of course not counted).

I'll download this for the collection tho.

Alright. I'll give you a review. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Graphics: 3 Rusty Stakes out of 5

It's not -terrible- to look at. And they do have pictures of the actual Hugh Jackman, so it's all good. Though it is all rather blurry and generic, especially the cookie-cutter, bad Donkey Kong Country-Esque 3D Modeled sprite for the main character. Ugly. But functional, I guess.

Sound/Music : 1 Blood-Curdling Scream out of 5

The sounds are pretty bad, muddled, funky, and seeming like they were ripped out of the other 45 games like this. And the music? What music? It's simple, one, two-note wierd 'spooky' sound in the background. Simply terrible.

Gameplay: 0 PLEASE GOD MAKE IT GO AWAY's out of 5

This is the same frigging Movie to Game that they've put out for EVERY movie for the past few years on GBA. You know what I'm talking about. Bad, 3D modeled sprites, collectathon gameplay, and uninspired anything. The controls are clunky, the various abilities you can use are lame (A grappling hook that can only go from side to side, not up and down! Unless you're standing under something, that is). I could go on, but it's a waste of my time.

Bottom Line: For the love of all that's holy, RUN AWAY.

Oh Radditz, I'm most thankful for your useful review! I really were a bit confused this time, cause I almost played this one. The title and concept sounded good. But when I saw the graphics I thought I was looking at a ripoff from Baldurs gate (which actually was butt ugly too). The images were really screaming to not be played, and the lack of inspiration seems to be dripping of this release. I just needed one more motivation to REALLY not play this one. There was not much effort needed to get me this far. But you did it, and thank you for that. I AM REALLY NOT GOING TO PLAY THIS ONE, and as far as the shitty pictures are concerned I think I might safely spread the word on the internet, so that I can convince other gamers to REALLY REALLY NOT PLAYING THIS GAME! LET'S ALL SAY: WE CANNOT, WILL NOT, SHALL NOT PLAY THIS GAME!

Hmmm... looking forward to the movie this Thursday. Hope it'll be as good as the Anime. I liked The Mummy so it should be good too. Shrek 2's looking good too... Better than the first one

You could always use the save states in VBA like Dragonlord does. I do too. Very useful when I'm writing guides for multi-branching games such as the first Tantei Gakuen Q game!

- Edit -

I wonder if some earlier Japanese releases are going to get dumped this week. The Japanese release schedule looks empty for this week.

Next week, Kidou Senshi Gundam Seed: Tomo to Kimi to Senjou de goes on sale.

I use both, but you're wrong X-Comp. I can't lug around my computer in my back pocket like I do my GBA with flash cart.

Flash cart > VBA for portability

Also, this game still stinks.
