Hacking My Acekard 2i isn't reading my MicroSDHC card.

I tried a Micro SDHC and the Acekard 2i just wont read it.

The Acekard 2i has no problems reading a MicroSD though.

And I bought the Kingston 4gb MicroSDHC from newegg.

I have formatted the card with the Panasonic program, by the way.

Hmm... Try formatting it the normal way on your pc and see if it works. Do a full format not a quick one. I bought my acekard 2i from DX. I don't know if this issue is with your card though. I have a 16GB Sandisk in my Acekard, and I've had no problems in the 2 weeks I've been using it. (Upgraded from 2GB)

You are using it on the dsi right? Because if not...there's no way to prove it's not an acekard2....

Since it works with the regular microSD card then it has to be something with the microSDHC card. Is it a Japanese card? If not then that is probably your problem since the Taiwan cards are a lot slower.

I've done that too.

It still didn't read the Micro SDHC.

And I'm on a DS Lite. And the logo on the DS menu says "Acekard 2i"

The SDHC card works on everything else. I've used it in my phone, my computer reads it just fine. It's just the Acekard 2i that is having a problem with it.

I have a 8 gig micro SDHC so im sure there is a way to get it to work,make sure you use the latest firmware from Akaio,not sure if that HAS anything to do with it,but im just saying my set up.
1)Akaio 1.5
2)Latest Loaders http://akaio.gbatemp.net/nloaders/
3)Class 6 8 gig Micro SDHC is what im using...

I know how upsetting it can be for something to not work,so alls I can do really is tell you what I did even if it doesn't help much/at all

I think my Micro SDHC is Class 4...

And yeah, the Akaio firmware/loaders are all up to date.

I agree, use AKAIO 1.5 I never tried the original Acekard firmware with my SDHC

i too have an acekard 2i with a 4gb sdhc, i've had no problems with it, once firmware was loaded onto the sd card the acekard worked out of box, i've had mine since around this june, maybe a bit before and never had ne problems with it, but i'm running mine on a dsi, i have no experience with it on a lite

If I were you I'd format the Card on your pc, and change the firmware of the acekard 2i to AKAIO. See if it helps.

Already did both of those.

But yeah, doing that didn't help either.

Any other suggestions, guys?

Do you have access to another Micro SD? If you do try that and see if it works. Also if you think it might be the MicroSD tell DX and I'm almost 100% sure they will send you a new one.

Maybe you got a fake acekard...

Akaio 1.5 does not support clone/fake card acekard...

But it works with a normal Micro SD. It just isn't reading the Micro SDHC. Thats the only problem I'm having.

Well, I guess it might not be funny to you but... I mean, come on, an acekard is cheaper than a single retail game these days.

Well I bought the card where literally everyone suggests buying it. And everyone else who bought the same thing I did from the same place hasn't had a problem at all.
