As far as I know you have a Phat DS or DS Lite but you need a Slot 2 flash card as well. The Slot 1 Acekard will just let you boot from the Slot 2 device you have, kind of like a Passme device.

But in all seriousness, no, it's not possible unless you have a slot-2 device.
The only way to play GBA games from a slot-1 card (alone) is if you own an iPlayer. Otherwise you must have a slot-2 device.

Is the iPlayer worth it though? I don't use homebrew much in all honesty but I'd get it just for the GBA games. Can it play games smoothly?
Honestly, not really. If you have a DS phat or DSL, then slot 2 is WAAAAAAAAYYYYY better, as it is near perfect emulation. And as far as the emulation goes, its not anywhere near as good as a Slot 2 card.
