Hacking Mario & Luigi: Bowers' Inside Story 100% fixed!

On the latest AKAIO loaders (11/10/2009) the Mario & Luigi flickering problems before battles and in cutscenes was finally fixed in the European version (#4256).

If you were playing M&L and getting annoyed by those graphical bugs, change to the #4256 rom, your current save will work in the European version as well.

I'm not one for creating topics around here, but I just needed to share my relief to see this bug fixed and would like to recommend everyone to update their roms and loaders

Sorry to burst your bubble, but graphic corruption is the same on both. I couldn't see battle flickering anymore (on both), but corruption at warp travel text continues.

Yeah, guess I got excited too soon when I checked that starting a battle with the brothers wouldn't trigger flickering anymore. But that's about it that stopped, because starting a boss fight it triggered it, and warping, as you said, still triggers it.

Oh well, at least something's better already

well...The World Ends With You (J) cutscence doesn't freeze on any microsd, any flashcart, too

AKAIO 1.5 with last loader on acekard2i always freezes EU clean rom of Mario & Luigi: Bowers' Inside Story right after any battle.
nothing fixed.

US version seems working fine.

Doesent freeze on U clean rom of Mario and Luigi: Bowsers inside strory. Must be EU rom.

As Yuan and I stated, starting a battle with the brothers doesn't trigger flickering in the EU version. And it doesn't crash for me, not sure what's the problem on your end.

So that isn't "nothing fixed". Most probably the patch is slightly different so that changed some of the flickering, so it wasn't something that was meant to be fixed, but was.

i played from save about 10h , EU freezes always after fighting bowser,
or maybe u have special anti-freezing acekar2i - i think not

First battle with bowser? At least in 10/14 loaders (clean rom) the game I won the battle and the game doesn't freeze.
