Then simply drag all the new files from the 1.1 download onto your sd.testmann said:Hi, guys.
I'd like to know how to uninstall wiiflow before I install it. I've gone through those text files after I unzipped the zip file, I couldn't find any information about uninstalling wiiflow. How can I uninstall wiiflow?
Simply put, just replace the old files with the new one, and probably delete wiiflow.ini and cache folder, to let them be created again.
Thanks for your reply.
But what about the channel? just delete the wiiflow channel too?
It doesn't seem like "uninstalling"...
The WiiFlow channel is just a forwarder to the wiiflow .dol on your SD/USB storage.
so to uninstall wiiflow. Delete SD:apps/wiiflow and SD:wiiflow and the wiiflow channel, if you installed that. But not everyone installs the wiiflow channel since you can run wiiflow directly from HBC.
Great, thanks!Narolez said:Latest libogc: http://cloud.github.com/downloads/Narolez/..._05-10-2009.zip

Awesome. One thing that I really think needs doing is letting the background music cycle through the songs when it reaches the end of a song, instead of playing the same song over and over again. Or would that make it too much like the other loaders?zorglub07 said:You can find an open source project based on the WiiFlow 1.1 sources here: http://code.google.com/p/wiiflow
This has been approved by Hibern, even though he does not wish to take an active role in any future WiiFlow project.

kedest said:so what are the source code plans?
is there a central (google code?) project like the gx loader has?
any developers who would like to try to further improver wiiflow should really work together closely.

The most "official" project is Zorglub's, because i trust him so i gave him the source a little before i put the link on the site. I'll try to help him if he has questions.
I don't know what Narolez "fixed" for making wiiflow compatible with latest libogc (latest from svn ?), but there's already something very wrong, you disable the wraps in the Makefile and you've kept the limit to 0x1200000. Expect code dumps for some users. Anyway, if i were you i wouldn't start too many projects now.

However, CFG Loader works fine with this.
Did you upgrade to WiiFlow 1.1 and accidentally delete the wiiflow.ini from your sd/usb? Did you make any modifications to the wiiflow.ini on your PC (perhaps to change the paths for covers)? If you have a FAT32 partition, and also use an SD card, you might have two different wiiflow.ini files (one for each device), and maybe you accidentaly switched paths.yahmegaman said:Hibern, I just want to say: GREAT LOADER!
ok on to my point, i have a glitch: i set up the settings for wiiflow like parental control, rumble off, sound off, etc. well it was working for a couple of days, then all of a sudden, loaded the loader like normal and every setting was reseted back to default. anyone having the same bug or any fix? thanks.
OK, my NWiiflow and compiled version of libogc are no longer public ...Hibern said:Anyway, if i were you i wouldn't start too many projects now.zorglub07 said:You can find an open source project based on the WiiFlow 1.1 sources here: http://code.google.com/p/wiiflow

OK, but your published version will not compile, missing __init_start ...
Code:mem2.o: In function `MEM2_init(unsigned int, unsigned int)': c:/devkitPro/examples/wii/source/mem2.cpp:30: undefined reference to `__init_start' c:/devkitPro/examples/wii/source/mem2.cpp:30: undefined reference to `__cdat_end' c:/devkitPro/examples/wii/source/mem2.cpp:30: undefined reference to `__init_start' c:/devkitPro/examples/wii/source/mem2.cpp:30: undefined reference to `__cdat_end' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
Make your source compileable, link to the used libs and libogc revision and then you can say it is the most "official".

Listen. Hibern released the source. Said the code was ours. Said he wasn't going to add any features or fix any bugs, because it was ours now. ALL of ours. And now he wants to tell people what they can or can't, or should or shouldn't be doing with the code? As fantastic and appreciated as his work is, that attitude reeks of arrogance. If he only wanted his approved number of projects (which I guess anything more than one is 'too many'?) coming from his source, then he shouldn't have released it publicly and should have instead just given it to his 'trusted' pals. He isn't dumb. He knew his code was going to be modified by many, yet he chose to release it anyways. Don't let his comment discourage you from doing anything and certainly don't play the "OK, I'm taking my ball home and no one can play with it..." attitude because of it. IMHO.Narolez said:OK, my NWiiflow and compiled version of libogc are no longer public ...Hibern said:Anyway, if i were you i wouldn't start too many projects now.
