For some reason, the two "i"s in the title remind me of ridge racer.

It's Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidge Racer!

it's Driiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiift Mania!

This truly is one of the best multiplayer WiiWares out there, it absolutely owns!
It's so much fun and very addiciting. The PAL release came a few months ago out.
You can play with 8 players at the same time (!) because you can play with the Wiimote apart and the Nunchuck apart (connected to the Wiimote).
It's big fun, especially when you start unlocking the other modes and tracks.

That's always a nice thing, i remember 1 or 2 games which had this. I think one was a Bomberman game but i don't remember which one.

There's only one Bomberman Wii Ware game so far, and that's the one, Bomberman Blast!

The other game is Bust A Move Bash!, not Wii Ware.

so uhm, hate to bump up an old topic/game but i've recently got home and wanted to give this a whirl on my wii...

got the release, and i've had success installing various other wads, but once installed i cant get this to run, i go to the channel and press start and rather than going "hey you're playing this awesome game driift...." it just says "hey .. i'm going to reboot your wii" and it reboots

i'm using a 3.3u wii, with a wiikey modchip in it. but like i said i've installed various other wads through the wad manager. i was playing Boingz earlier (pretty cool game too), so i know how to install them. just no luck w/ this release, the channel appears and i get the cool driift mania animation on the screen but like i said it reboots when i press start

.

tried the PAL release, says this game is not playable or something like that (figured as much) even tried Free the wads on the pal release, and when it goes to play with that wad installed it does the same thing the US wad does.

do i need to be at a certain system menu or what?

thanks in advance

EDIT: just a note, for those who are trying newer wiiware games on older system menus... either you need a newer system menu or one of your IOS's updated, and rather than tryin to figure out which ones to update and all that jazz i just went ahead and updated to 4.2 and got some of the newer wiiware games working (this included).

thanks to anyone who might have helped and what have you
