I agree with kutabare. CI254, you're saying that a minority of those who download GBA-roms actually owns a flashcart on which they play the games? Bah, I say you're wrong

I would probably never had downloaded any GBA-roms had I not had my GBA and two flashcarts.

Or at least some other handheld device that could emulate the GBA.

Has anyone got past the start of the second level, it seems to have locked up into some sort of a loop

The password for level 2 is 4927.

EDIT: Don't worry, it's fixed now.

I'm writing a walkthrough for the game right now, here's what I have for that bit:

Go left to find some ammo, then head right and kill the enemies, climb
up the carriage and head right to be trapped by four enemies; two
soldiers and two snipers, just stay near on the blocks on the roof,
and you won't be hit by a sniper, kill the two soldiers on the roof,
then jump up and fire down to hit the snipers. Continue heading
east, get up the carriage, then watch out for the shells being fired,
get past it, then kill the enemies around you, jump over the boxes,
and collect the health.

the 1st one was total crap, the 2nd wasn't too bad.
password save is just pure laziness on behalf of the creators, and really ruins the game.

it's alright for a bit of fun, but it's a pretty half arse attempt at the metal slug genre.

Cash-ins? How exactly are they cashing in? Is Metal Slug some kind of super hit? I thought it was more of a cult fan favorite...

Not to mention that the extra sequences are nice (the shooting and the sniping...)...
Correct me if I`m wrong, but I think that the Metal Slug - series is SNK:s best-selling series after King of Fighters. Maybe not on consoles, since Neo-Geo didn`t fare very well, but on arcades the games "cashed in" pretty well, if I`m not wrong

Hah, i dont think the "hero" would be affectd by teh "bio-terror" @ all (but I'm betting he would in the game anyway!) I'm I the only who actually mistakes him for an enemy?
