Sorry for my double-post but I've got another problem..

I need to see 2 Pokemons to get the NationalDex. I thought it would work, if I just created those 2 Pokemons, but somehow it doesn't. Is this normal?

The other problem is the Item Secret Key: I created it, and went to that Team Galactic Base in Eterna City. But I can't enter the hidden room with the 5 Rotom-forms, although I've got the Secret Key. Somebody can tell me what the problem is?

1. Yes that's normal. To get a Pokemon in your Dex, you must hack the Pokemon as an egg and hatch it. Or trade it and trade it back. Maybe sending it up for trade via GTS and taking it back works as well, but I haven't tried it.
2. Never hack an event item directly. First remove the Secret Key you hacked. Then use the wondercard feature of Pokesav instead.

Under the Item Events row, choose your country and region, then download the Secret Key event and load it into Pokesav in the Event editor.

hello i got some legit pokemon from a site i download them or hatched them from eggs and when i load them i can't edit there stats? i am using pokesav platinum and was wondering why this happening the stats edit box is greyed out. is there a way around this?

edit:nm i found out my answer you can't do this in stroage that's bs...

This kinda sucks, Pokesav keeps erasing my save here. Can anyone get it to work with Rudolph's patch only, without the translations?

I think it doesn't matter whether you were using patched rom or not
because the rom will create the same sav file [correct me if im wrong]
so the pokesav should be able to work at both patch

there are still some bugs in it. i recommend not editing your pokeballs for example. its screws your bag up. well.. you still got your pokeballs but only in battle and not the ones you wanted.
is is possible to have 101 pokeballs?

and kaikou has like 1 hp and i cannot catch him!! he just keeps using roar. (using ultra balls)

The thing is, whenever I edit my save file, it ends up being erased when I load up the game (Starts with oak's introduction).

A note on the HG/SS pokesav, whenever I edit my save and save the edit it erases my Trainer name. When I load my game my name is listed as ????? and all pokemon caught by me now act as traded pokemon. This could be becuase the text of the program doesn't seem to load correctly on my computer, but I don't know how to fix it so I will leave things as they are for now. Also ralph9994 if you were referring to the HG/SS editor, when I edited my pokeballs, everything worked fine, in and out of battle, also the Medicine bag edit worked as well.

Load pokesavhgss through this app:

Set it to Japanese (the last selection in the list), then it should display it correctly.
But if you saved already... unless you are able to type your Japanese-Font name back in, it's stuck like that. (The "big" roman letters in Japanese games are different to the regular roman letters you see in English games)

P.S. I'm currently working on translating pokesavhgss v0.02 to English.

If you change your system locale, you can change your name back to English. I had the same issue. I just wish I can change my Rival's name, but apparently this version doesn't want to let me.

da_letter_a, thanks that app allowed the Japanese characters to load successfully, thank you. Also I made a backup of my save before testing Pokesavhgss, so nothing was lost.

The HGSS Pokesav still isn't working for me. After editing and saving and I load up the game, the save is apparently deleted and I'm left with the whole intro of the game again.

Which patch are all of you using at the moment to make HG/SS work?

I am currently using Raqib12's 3.5 patch. I also tested my save with a clean rom and it loads fine with that as well.
