its because your using cIOS rev 13 which uses that port which Wiixplorer only uses cIOS 249, update to cIOS rev 14 and that will solve your problem as it uses the bottom port for HDD acces and top port for peripherals now

What? The port change happened with cIOSrev12, and has been the same port in 13a/b and now 14. So, if he is having a problem accessing, it is most certainly not because he is on cIOSrev13.

Although, from the sounds of it, his flash device is plugged into the right port when he can access it. Sounds like he is wondering why he is not getting USB 2.0 speed out of it. Does WiiXplorer even support USB2?

I've stared re-compiling the source again as there's been some worthwhile changes.

See the code site for all of them from R32 to R52

Anyway here's my wee spiel

Remember this great piece of software is still at a very early stage of development!

It's a compile and test kinda thing for me (and for most of you too methinks)
So, if a new issue is reported here and confirmed, someone should report it on the official codepage too

Project Homepage
http://code.google.com/p/wiixplorer

Download R52 (contains boot.dol, meta.xml and icon.png)
http://madtamski.com/downloads/wiixplorerR52.rar

Changes:
* Added slideshow button (not working yet), all other images are resized by NeoRame (thanks!)
* Added Bitmap support!
* Changed bitmap implementation to EasyBMP by Paul Macklin

As usual, meta.xml and icon.png included

What is this thing exactly?

You should have read the openings post:

Features:
*SMB/USB/SD recursive copy/move/delete of files/directories with all files in it
*Rename files
*Properties of files/directories
*Browse through SD/USB/SMB
*Addressbar with path

So a sort of Windows Explorer for your SD(HC) card on your Wii.
Very handy.
