well , so you must rename them in 6 digits , resize in 1024x680 , and then sort them by region and country.
And then we'll be able to upload them on wiitdb

Hi, the 4 month old power adapter of my laptop has died yesterday while i was replying to messages.
In a few hours i hope i'll be able to borrow one at work, otherwise no bug fix for 1 or 2 weeks.
Please, once again, try to help me instead of chatting here, and send emails with proper bug reports.
The Japanese translation works fine, thanks, just needs a font.
Discussion about covers should be had on the wiitdb topic.

what kinda irritates me is that when i originally did all this crap (rename to 6 digit, resize to 5** x 3**, change from jpg to png and upload them to wiiboxart.com) I did it right.. I have access to wiiboxart.com and a few weeks ago, downloaded all the full covers.. but for some reason they have all been renamed to 4 digit. WTF? lol idk

anyway,, why cant the loader look for both 4 digit and 6 digit?.. its just a copy and paste from gx.

Where can I find the latest version of this loader.

I think Hibern needs to update the front page for every loader update, So that way it won't be a hassle for people to look for the newer loader.

well , there are only 2 loader updates...
beta1 and beta2.

the link for beta2 is page 47 or 48 , don't remember , and the password is manybugs.

Be a little patient , the final release is coming

is it possible to make the loader accept gamecovers with 4 digit game ID? That way i would only need to resize the covers i got from BlindDude.
If not possible that would be ok too, but it will take a bit longer

(code could be ripped from usb loader GX)

More seriously, i answered Blinddude already, the problem is that you have to upload files to wiitdb, it has nothing to do with wiiflow.

More seriously, i answered Blinddude already, the problem is that you have to upload files to wiitdb, it has nothing to do with wiiflow.

Hibern, I don't think they were referring to where it get's the images from but rather for ppl that download packs for offline use to add images, using 4 digit game ID codes allow for the same images to be used for ntsc, pal, etc. etc. since the region isn't until the 5th digit.

And this made no sense seeing as I'm unable to properly count to 5 XD, region is at the 4th digit -.-

why use 4 digits when idgame is 6 digits ? simply use 6 digits ... when you walk you use your 2 legs or one?

ps: can someone test pangya golf with alt dol and wiiflow ? don' work here ...
ps2: ssx blur work fine with alt dol and wiiflow ...

I believe WiiFlow uses the 6 digit codes so that it will try to get the correct cover for your selected language and region. If it does not get your region it may try other regions and the website it links to are already using the 6 digit images. It is not a step forward to move back to 4 digits.

I think the websites took advantage of Blindudes packs to make them available online via the loaders, and some of the covers in his packs are homemade.

You can also download them directly from the website. Hence the reason this is not a WiiFlow issue but an issue for the boxart websites. once they have the correct covers named correctly this issue is gone.

I for one would prefer the covers to be specific for my region, I'm sure French people want French covers, Germans want German, etc. i will be scanning and submitting my own PAL covers to WiiTDB and if everyone contributes that way WiiFlow, AND other loaders will display the correct fullcover images.

I believe WiiTDB will be including EN, FR, ES covers once they are available.

It is not hard to use a NTSC cover if no PAL version is available, or vice versa, simply via changing filenames on PC.

444 covers (1024x680 6 digit ID) ready to be uploaded. Now i only need to join BlindDude's covers with my own to get a distinct set. I'll keep you guys posted. Hope to put up a list with numbers off covers per region tomorrow.

One thing I noticed while using wiiflow is that I couldn't get the full cover downloads to work, annoyed I patched up a version of wiiflow with the working error 002 support here. I don't think this issue was with just my system seeing as it the site had started to look for referrers. I will say that one of the patched strings isn't properly terminated with a null character do to space limitations and depending on the code it could send garbage data with the http request though it isn't anything that could harm your wii. Anyways if anyone has any questions as to what I did I'd be happy to answer that as well.

I'm not forcing anyone to use it, either way all that's needed to fix the problem is in the dol. The issue with it not working it because wiiboxart.com aka theotherzone.com no longer allows direct linking to their full cover png files. All I did was removed the http 1.0 user agent that was used since it isn't needed and added a forced referrer (spelled referer in http headers for god knows what reason) as 'Referer: http://wiiboxart.com' to allow the image to be loaded. As for the unknown user part, ya can't help that.

Though if it makes ya feel any better my degree is in Computer Science w/ a Network Administration background
