Thanks nicksasa, it works great!
the USB2 version gives me a code dump though. I'm not sure how to run it so here is what I have done:
- renamed the .dol to boot.dol
- put it in the sd apps/folder/boot.dol
- Had my WBFS formatted hdd harddrive attached to the first usb slot (the same one used for usbloaders for ios249)
- ran the app, selected 249, then as soon as I press A, it gives me a code dump

another question, should "data" folder be included somewhere? should put it on the root? or in apps/folder/? or do I not need that?

well, the USB2 version doesnt run for me, I tried various USB sticks, FAT formatted, tried my ipod as well (but i dont think that would've worked anyways)
when I use the first USB slot, the application freezes on "informing the wii that I am god"
when I use the second USB slot, the application gives a code dump as soon as u press A to dump

Hope that helps, and thanks

*any chance you could combine v1 and v2 in the next version? it would be nice to have full dumps, or necessary files only dump.

I'm new to this with NAND and want to backup it if I screw things up.
How do you restore the NAND after a backup if something happens?
There is no README or FAQ with the archive?

this nand dumper is for use with triiforce, to run vc/wiiware from an emulated nand on sd or usb device
if you want to make a nand backup for brick protection, use bootmii's backup functionality

There's also an modified NeoGamma, which saves the saves of launched games on SD/USB. Just an addition

Installing bootmii is the only way to accomplish a real NAND backup and restore?
This is going off-Topic, but to keep it simple for you: BootMii as Boot v2 (NOT as IOS) is the only way to accomplish a real NAND backup and restore via Software and for free. There's also something like a ModChip for this, but it's expensive, and you need to solder it on your Wii. Forget this solution, please.

Nicksasa, are you sure you didn't forget any important file? I tried to install a wad of "World of Goo" (using WAD Manager 1.5) and execute it via Triiforce. Everything work flawlessy with the full nand dump (obtained by Simple FS Dumper 0.1), but using the dump obtained by this version the game does not work. It gives me an error message similar to the following: "An error has occured. Please eject the disk and switch off the console" (the words were different.... but I don't remember them anymore).

Thanks for your wonderful apps.
