HLJ and SAL shipping.

any hobbyists/gunpla modelers out there order from HLJ?
This is my first time ordering from HLJ, and first time trying out SAL shipping.
I've ordered 2 model kits, one from the series Code Geass, and one Armored Core kit.
I usually hit up Rainbowten and use EMS, because I like being able to track my packages, and the faster shipping time is nice as well.
Money's been tight lately so I decided to try SAL shipping. Is it really reliable? I hear it can take up to three months.
Waiting isn't too bad if it's like 2-4 weeks, but 3 months does seem a bit much.

Any personal experiences with SAL would be nice.
Also, what's the estimated time of arrival to California?

I've ordered from HLJ several times, EMS and SAL. SAL is slower, but it's reliable. I couldn't say about California, but shipping to Croatia takes around 4 weeks, and post-wise, Croatia is the ass-end of the postal network, so it shouldn't thake more than that for you.

oh nice.
well a royal coating version of the lancelot, and the 03 ray lenoard aaliyah are on their way from HLJ via SAL.
I'll be placing an order on a 1/72 VF-25S ARMORED MESSIAH VALKYRIE OZMA CUSTOM from the macross frontier series, and a MG Sinanju Ver. Ka.
I think i'll be placing those under EMS, because i'm also picking up some gundam markers, cutting mat, decal softener, paint, etc., and
Trying to get some building in, and do some video reviews on youtube before college starts.

I'll be ordering from Rainbow10 this time around. Prices are usually a 20% markdown versus playasia, gundamstoreandmore, and hlj.

what kits/figures do you currently have in your colletion? i think it's always interesting to talk to another collector/modeler/hobbyist.
