I KNEW about this error, I really thought I had fixed it :'( sorry

QUOTEIn GBAfront you can name the picture files as the CRC number and the pictures are shown but here I can't find a solution for that!!
When you select an "unknown" game, on the "Info" tab, you can see the Unknown Game Number (X0001 for example), they all begin by "X".
if you want to see pictures for this game, just name the pictures "X0001.jpg" (or X0001s.jpg), dunno...
do you see what I mean now?

Juste pour toi et ton équipe Costello , un grand merci pour cet outil fantastique

No problem until now, even if i've tried to use it hard, made it do several things at the same time, always with success

All the others tools had gone to the bin

costello in 3.0.1 or 3.0.2 can u change that the format renaming string is different then the main display string shown in GBArms 3.

as regards to the error #61 its just a bad download....go to download again uncheck skip existing resources and redownload...it will be fixed..took me 10 minutes to get like 150 corrupted/bad image quality pics of roms fixed.

With regards to images..

* ALL screenshots and titlescreens WILL be replaced to .PNG format directly from Visualboy Advance
* 1050 will be corrected - Thanks
* 0008 filename will be corrected - See, you didn't noticed that one !
biggrin.gif

* image errors, go to the folder that contains the images, delete the one giving an error and redownload

Kind regards on behalf of Costello and myself.
Urg...Angelical, do you mean that once GBArms switches over to .png format, I'll have to redownload all my current pictures? I mean, the clarity on .png is good...but I have a complete romset! I'd have to redownload ALL of my screenies!

And I can't wait for the nest version--I like to be able to resize my window, heh.

Thanks for the info on the jpeg error. I assumed that is what it was, but on redownloading some of the bad ones several times it still comes up with the error.

Oh well, anyways enough about what little bugs it still has.

This program is great!!!! Very nice work Costello and team. It has come a long way and is very, very good. It can only get better from here. CHEERS!

no no! you can keep your pictures. It's just that we will take new ones (and put them on GBArms's server).

does the function "Update database / New releases only" work ? if not, it means you have a problem with your internet connection... or you have a too powerful firewall.

G-Links is a plugin for OfflineList!

Hmm. Does this use the titles/screens from offline list? I couldn't get it to work. My paths were fine. All my attempts at downloading pics are corrupting. Is there a better server? I downloaded pic, nfo, and boxart from advance- power, but gbarms won't see them either. Ideas? I'm getting the jpeg 61...

Well, its quite good...but the screens promised more than there is....
I only want to use it for looking after roms i could play on my flash, because for collecting all roms i don't have enough diskspace. So the Jpg Errors and all that realy suck ( but all other romlisters are'nt better, by the way).

2nd Thing i don't like is that there should be a romdownloader ( which i thought before that it would be there...). Something like Offlinelist ( I would use this if it would work for me...).

EDIT: Oh, I found this option...very sweet
biggrin.gif
.

But don't care to much about my critic, I'm using such a manager the first time
rolleyes.gif
.

EDIT2:
You should add categorie option ( so that you can give a game to a categorie like ego-shooter or something, but i should be enabled to make own categories and listing after categories).

And it should be enabled to search in the notes.

Jup it works thanks for the info.

Another thing: The window size is still not saved. Every new start it is not full screen and when renaming or clicking on some options the window size changes automatically!!

no image problems with me either. I just have the problem with the unknown menu. Like I mention before, hopefully somebody can help me with that. The program is awesome.

As long as you name your images (000x.png) with x being customisable such as 0001S.png / 0002S.png for screenshots .. T for titleshots, and X or B for boxart, you'll be able to assign a generic or specified location in the settings.

- - - -

A category sort is possible, yes.. atm it's not top of our priorities.. plus it's a case of adding it to the database which takes time.

If fact there are many sort possibilities which will or might be added at a later stage

- - - -

With regards to listing size-stripped / overdumped release etc, again this is a database issue..

- - - -

The apps size resetting will be down to storage, and as yet, implimentation of import/export settings etc will come in later releases.

Kind Regards on behalf of myself and Costello

@K3Nv2 Snow Day is pretty fun. My only bitch would be the camera controls, when you move around, say down, you have to move the right stick left or right to get camera to turn and get your view, other than that I like it so far.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
From what people say pvp isn't even worth it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I just been playing offline, and they give you a few bots here n there on your team to help battle. I don't think it's as funny as the other games tho, more battle oriented than humor, which kinda sucks, but I'm still early in it
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, doesnt the game have a campaign mode?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea, and co-op, but you can also start a pvp session and battle just with friends. You get special skill cards (powers) the more you play. And higher value cards, but you can only enable so many cards at a time.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
If you can find enough for it
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Toilet paper is considered the money, you collect and buy stuff with TP, kinda funny. Graphics are def better than the other games tho, I think they used Unity 5 engine.

I bet most people at the time still watched it in black and white
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, Many of them did before colour television was common.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
Likely because black and white TV was in-expensive.

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It certainly wasn't inexpensive it cost the same as a new car back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
How much did a 1965 color TV cost?

For example, a 21-inch (diagonal) GE color television in 1965 had an advertised price of $499, which is equal to $4,724 in today's dollars, according to the federal government's inflation calculator.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@K3Nv2, take into consideration how economy was back then
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why they listed inflation rates
