Noobish question I'm sure, but the lack of any readme in the zip is quite frustrating ^^;

This is called an 'USB ISO Loader', but does that simply mean I can load Wii ISOs off a USB storage device, and they will run?

If the device is a) compatible and b) formatted in WBFS. Then yes.

Thanks, is there some kind of tutorial stating what kind of drives are compatible, and how to format as such? I tried searching but all the topics found seem rather irrelevant.

There are plenty of sticky topics at the top of this forum section.

Definitely the slickest looking loader for sure.

No, please remove all files with size of 7 KB in:
SD:/usb-loader/disks/
SD:/usb-loader/covers/
SD:/usb-loader/3dcovers/

read about 1 or 2 pages back

Well sorry, but you would expect the screen to say the correct revision

i agree its like saying this blue when its clearly red

Exactly. And in the next breath, you'd get flamed for saying 'oh I found a bug in this revision' and they'd be like 'well that's great dipshit, but what revision are you talking about' and I'd be like 'well, now here's the thing...'

Thanks a lot...
I tried but I received an exception DSI, stack dump and code dump after loading the app, in the very moment the loader first tried to paint the covers over the boxes...
I know this is a test version, I hope this info could be helpful....

Very Nice.... I tried again, same thing.. the code dump is here
Previous version 1.0 was working of course... I have 178 games in the HD... too many covers to be placed in memory? My system is in the signature...

EDIT: I restarted both Wii and my WiFi router and coverfloader loaded... the box in the middle of the screen was one having the missing cover... I tried to click in the new button at the upper-left corner and the loader freezed....

EDIT: Tried again (WiFi router restarted)... coverfloader loads but freezes when I try to load a game

That is a new feature... Let's Tap sucks my balls and I've intentionally made it not boot...

I have 105 games and it loaded fine. Perhaps someone with more then 150 games could try the new version and confirm its a memory issue?

Shouldn't be a mem issue... coverflow caches enough storage to support up to 500 covers.... after 500 covers, you might have issues; but its a circular buffering queue, so it _should_ handle 500+ anyway. (A Leet hacker can test this; but if you have 500 games; i honestly don't care if it crashes your system.)

So I finally got this to work for me once I switched over to ios 222/223. Everything was working fine (I downloaded some 3D covers) and then when I tried to download some cheats there was a code dump (at least I think) and I had to reset my wii. Then I try loading it up again and it won't go past the initializing disc part of the first loading screen.

Is there a problem with the cheats? If I reinstall the app will the problem go away as long as I don't mess with the cheats?

I don't mean to seem like an arse, but you really gotta read the thread. The possible answer was posted MAYBE one page back
When you shut off your Wii, shut off the HDD. Turn on the Wii, turn on the HDD. 99% of the time ...that works for me
