I found this cool thing on the Ray Ban official site. It's a virtual mirror which lets you try on a pair of sunglasses!

All you need is a webcam, and do a bit of calibrating, and you can try on select pairs of Ray Ban sunglasses! I've seen how it works in action and it's pretty neat.
Just thought I'd share this with everyone. Here's a link:

If you're considering purchasing a pair of Ray Bans anytime soon, give this little utility a spin.

Why would I want to pay more than 5 dollars for some sunglasses? I'm pretty sure even I can be satisfied with those cheap 1 dollar ones you can get at a convenience store or something. And I don't even wear sunglasses.

Some people are picky about there sunglasses, and it's worth it. Ray Ban is known for making quality sunglasses. You can't get polarized sunglasses at a convenience store. But hey, if you don't mind the cheap sunglasses, that's GREAT for you.

Also, it's pretty fun seeing what the sunglassses look like on you.

I have Ray-Ban eyeglasses (not sunglasses) on my face right now. Love 'em.

As for sunglasses, when I'm wearing my contacts, I just buy cheapie ones from the mall/flea markt/Target/whatever, because I take them off often, and as such, they end up getting damaged, lost, etc. So no need to buy an expensive pair of sunglasses because I'd be very upset if I sat on a pair of $200 frames, not so much if I'm only out of $5 or $10.

Same, I got prescription glasses with Ray Ban frames, and they do their job (let me see better). I guess I just like Ray Ban. But the frame I got was pretty cheap compared to those of other companys. But yeah. Great stuff.
