No Black Wii in North America or Any Other Colors

People were expecting Nintendo to do the right thing and bring the black Wii over the United States. Looks like if you want your hands on a Black Wii, you might as well import since Nintendo has no plans to bring the black Wii over. Not only that, it seems they have no plans to bring any other colors for the Wii. With the sales of the Wii declining, this could help bring them back up but now it seems Nintendo has lost that chance.

you could always do the black case mod, its alot cheaper, but voids the warranty, not saying you would have a warranty on a imported Wii either though.

Maybe if everyone buys two more wiis they will bring the other colors over.

This was expected and it's the same with the Red DSi as well. There won't be a black Wii or any colored Wii unless my old one goes out and I need to import another one.

I don't think that an additional color or two of the Wii will boast sales by much, I think it's the hardware specs most gamers care about and I'm not talking about the people who just entered the scene.

I agree colors are just a cheap ploy to grab more casual gamers... look it comes in purple!! If Nintendo wanted to boost sales, system menu 4.2 would be skinnable. People would jump all over that news.

This just means the plain old white Wii is still selling phenomenally well in the U.S.
If you want newer colors, you gotta stop buying Wiis.
I wished Nintendo went back to the old N64 days when there were millions of different colors.

I think the Black Wii looks sleeker IMO. But there's no way I'd replace mine for a new color. I'm sure they'll wait till sales die down then release a new color here.

True add featues people want and that will surely boost sales.maybe if they made what we all want a Hd for the Wii then the sales would sky rocket
