I don't use SoftMii, I installed CIOScorp on my Wii thanks to WiiBlaster (for ensamble the pack) to WiiPower (for his Multi_cIOS Installer) and to Mii (for modifiying the source of the Multi_cIOS), Preloader thanks to Crediar, and when SoftMii born (what was it called on that time..??) I used ARC1.1_mod5 by QLeap to install a patched/hacked 3.2 SysMenu and make the disc channel RegionFree, that's all...!!!

They were slowly improving the Softmii documents to the point that they were almost acceptable and then the 3.0 release killed that completely. The new documents look like they were written by a 12 year old that barely spoke English. They lost any improvements they had slowly gained.

Their website has always been a disaster and an eyesore (was it run by a blind man?). They didn't take their documentation seriously. They thought a Changelog was something you shit out after a good meal.

As I said at the beginning it is such a shame. There definitely is a need for beginners to have a trustworthy package with good documentation. Softmii unfortunately wasn't it.

figures all the interesting stuff happens when my internet gets cut off.. that happens more often than you'd think.
well the softmii pack was ok, if you knew what you were doing which if you where really looking to use it from the get go you wouldn't.
the docs where iffy at best and in the end ease of use is what attracts a crowd when it comes to things of this nature.
people are looking for a quick fix bang bam boom done effect that just simply doesn't exist in most things that claim to have that.

and im a happy user its just all the ppl comeing in here saying its crap or what ever but yet admit not using it so how would they know its crap.......
true it's not crap, i use it from time to time to spice up my boring system menu and such gc backups since my original melee disc has about had it.
but it had problems for noob and there are those who don't approve of it "legally" wise, though that in the end is personal issue rather than a problem with the pack it's self it should be/have been updated more offten in several ways like the miiwii package was.

If you still want to view some of their site pages on Softmii.org just use google and click on cached. to search the site with google just type in the search box, "site:Softmii.com then whatever you are looking for here"
Example: site:softmii.org themes

Just don't include the quotation marks in the search unless you are searching for several different things and one thing is what you want most; e.g game, "themes", ect..
In the example "themes" is what i want to find more than game and ect..

Most people already are aware of googles search abilities but this is aimed those who don't know of this.

I didn't bother to read all the posts here so sorry if it was already posted in any manner b4 me.

i dont know why tv manufactures put the hdmi ports in dumb locations so the cables have to stick out, and then down, putting strain on the ports. Instead of having the ports along the bottom edge of the tv facing downwards.
