It feels like driving a bumper car at an amusement park

The steering wheel view is quite boring too since it just looks like the dashboard of a Porsche 911.... instead of a classic 356...

After about 10 races...

Graphics : same engine as NFS:UG... except way more invisable walls (can't drive on sidewalks so it makes it even more difficult to judge some corners) and fences that blend in to the background. The texture problem is still here... hard to see some corners. Some reviews say the texture quality is to low... i thaught it was too many shades being used of the same color making it all blend in together when in the distance... either way it makes it very difficult to see in to the distance, and sometimes even to see lil things that are close to you (ie, fences & curbs which mark the invisable walls). Cars look pretty nice. (Added in Edit) A proper in car view is nice to see included... but doesn't feel right... it seams as you are situated in the middle of the car instead of the driver side as the dash would make you think. And I believe the dash is the same in every car... would had been nicer to see the authentic porsche dashes for each car.

Gameplay/Physics : sorry... this is worse the NFS:UG... the handeling is way less responsive then NFS:UG. You just don't have that full feel of control as you had in NFS:UG. The challange mode is just like in the orignal formats of NFS games... where you work your way through multiple tournaments (which are locked in order) to unlock new cars and tracks. Opponent car collision is well done.

Sounds/Music : Engine sound is of average quality. The skidding sound is kinda pathetic and really quiet. The crashing sound too isn't intersting. The music is alright... but is bound to get repetitive.

First Impression Overall Score... 6/10
and in my top list... I'd put this below Top Gear Rally... cause that game had better physics then this.

I kinda like it more than underground, but they STILL haven't solves the background detail. The opponant cars look slightly worse than in UG and it can be hell sometimes navigating your car round the track. . .

really nice game. remembers me on the 1st need for speed which made it so good because of the dashboard view and for 1st impression makes the scenery's graphics in nature a chilled game... thanx a lot for this unexpected release, i love surprises

You could change the view, pressing select.

After 20 mins of play, I can say that it is better then NFS Underground by a long shot imo. The graphic and control reminds me a little bit of the original Test Drive and Test Drive 2 for the PC.

I have to agree with Thug4L1f3, TOP GEAR RALLY is the best 3D racing game for the GBA.

People have different taste. Personnaly, I don't like V-Rally 3 (GBA version only) at all and i'm also a big racing fan. I love V-Rally 2 (Dreamcast version) and V-Rally 3 (PS2 version). The GBA version has many options but the collision detection is so bad. There is no fun for me.

Woah, I didn't think this was even published yet. There isn't even a definate release date. Perhaps someone snuck into Pocketeers headquarters?

I luv it! I think it's much more realistic than NFSU! I also think it's smart to put the dashboardview in there and make it the default view setting, because it makes everything far more fluid (less car rendering). Although it's technically limited power the GBA does a very nice job indeed, it reminds me very much of the first NFS combined with some Testdrive influence. Gonna play some more now!
