If you meant the site then you can already see the synopsis in various languages for hundreds of games, it has been only a week and the database is growing every day

I would like to see a metacritic.com or gamerankings.com rating in the db. Waht do you think about it?

I've found a bug:
As there was no normal boxart for Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (RDSPAF), I decided to upload it. In the upload form I selected the PNG file, type = Cover, language = EN. After uploading it, I could still only see the 3D-Cover. I looked at "Latest Artwork", where my entry was listed, but in the brackets that follow the game name was no language and it was also missing in the URL.

i think you get problem of connexion with the server.
i've tried to do it , and it worked for me at the first time

hmmm .....perhaps Zorglub was working on it.
He told me he had things to implement , so it may be why it was down.

The host seems to be making changes, they said they added a new fiber link to Europe.
They go up and down every minute at the moment, the two accounts I have with them are unreachable and so is their portal.
We'll have to wait until they fix this.

Well, I did it. Every NTSC title on the site now has a description, genre, num of players, producer, developer, and date. I also fixed the titles as per the Nintendo website. The descriptions came from the Nintendo website in 99% of the cases. When it wasn't feasible, I used Amazon.

PLEASE back up the database soon. I'm not doing it again.

Excellent! Don't worry the database is backuped every day, but I just saved it now for the landmark

dj_skual is almost done doing the same for PAL

I removed R41E69 as it seems to be the wrong entry (there is R42E69 and R42P69).

ok guy's
done yersterday evening
but just with french synopsis and the maximum info about the game (rating, release date, content rating, ...)
if there leave some info to enter, it's because i haven't found the good information
so, wee need you to put other language synopsis and complete missing or wrong information in the around 650 Pal game list
i had seen some game (but i can't remember which one... sorry) who had multiple id like hdhacker speak about for sims.
often created with a "O" and a "0", so 2 id for the same game but just one good
little question about game with 2 different publicher id: normal?

lustar, please contact me i need to speak with you about something for the database (wiispeak, airg, nintendodscontroller)
hdhacker, how had you manage about: wiispeak, airg (pop star guitar), and nintendods (like controller in pokemon or animal crossing)

this DB is awesome.
great work to everyone who contributed.

I wonder if someone is planning to do a computer application able to parse it.
(I heard offline list somewhere around the block

)

I don't think editing it is a need.. but I would love to be able to access the DB when I am in front of my computer.
this is just my perception. feel free to kick me (not to hard) if I am out of topic

I kinda knew I could open it with an xml editor.
but you forgot to mention you have to unrar the file first

and guess what. I can even open it with regular notepad.

but it sure would look better in a dedicated application.. and again, maybe not

The controls and online information are areas I didn't touch unless I was absolutely sure I knew the answer. I added "AirG" to popstar guitar, and "nunchuck" or "balanceboard" to games where the description mentions it.

BTW, I left alone Developer field entries that I couldn't confirm or deny. I did clean up the Publisher field based on what the Nintendo site said. For example, "Destineer Software - Data Design" was almost always changed to "Destiner Software." Sometimes Nintendo would identify "Data Design" as the Developer. A lot of entries credited to "Destineer" were actually "Zoo Games."

added lot of info under name DPopcorn got most info from game box i have or nintendo.com. the db is very good only thing that needs to be done is more controls added to the correct games. and also sorry for the few mistakes i made onces i got going i cant stop and was very tried. at the start i was addin pal info to ntsc game rateing

Woot !!

I've just finished to upload :

242 fullcovers FR 512x340 (made from high quality covers found on the net , very clean , good colors etc..)
23 fullcovers EN 512x340 (same as above ^^)
73 fullcovers US 512x340 (again , same as above)

242 frontcovers FR 160x224 (made from the fullcovers so very good quality)
23 frontcovers EN 160x224 (idem)
73 frontcovers US (idem)

i've also uploaded the fullcovers (so 242 FR , 73 US and 23 EN) in 1024x680 size.

For the moment , i don't give you the link to use them , since one loader is able to use them , Wiiflow , and for the moment it hasn't been updated so you cannot use WiiTDB with it.
I'll release the link to them when Hibern will have updated his loader

(or if coverflow or CFG loader change their size of image to use them).
It makes a really big difference on wiiflow between 512x340 and 1024x680

with the second size , it becomes possible to read what's written on the back cover , and they look really more beautiful.

If you have good links to find French PAL fullcovers in high-res , send them to me by PM please
