Today i installed the 575 revision and now i can't find the 002 ifx option anywhere. Not in the main settings and not in the game settings.

I have cIOS 13a installed which worked fine before....

If you go into the game specific menu it should be one of the options when you "cycle" through the 002 option. It's not a stand alone option.

I'm unable to get the forwarder (16/6/09) to load the app (r576) from my USB drive. I can load the app from USB using HBC (1.0.3), and everything works fine in the app once it is running. All the paths in app config have a USB prefix. When I start the forwarder I see the loading screen, then blank, then the wii tiles as it restarts. The HD activity light does flicker during this process. Anyone have any ideas?

cIOS38_rev13a
HD (WD Passport 160G) plugged into bottom slot (doesn't work in top slot)
2 partitions:
1st = HBFS, 155GB
2nd (active) = FAT, 5GB

Are you sure your 2nd partition is FAT and not FAT32? Someone correct me, but I think 4GB is the max FAT partition.

Regardless of partition size, FAT32 is a better choice anyway. Also, make sure both partitions are active/primary or you'll probably run into issues.

Hello I have a problem with the GX loader and I hope someone can help.

Just recently I tried playing games off my harddrive, but they will only boot up after I have ran them twice. The first time I try to load the game I get a black screen and must hold the power button down and reboot. The second time I try the game it runs perfectly. This happens to most if not all of the games.

This problem just occurred recently and I have updated to the newest version and I have also deleted the sd://config folder.

I am using revision 13b 3.2(U) softmod with all default settings on the GX loader (242).

Thank you.

This is a problem with some USB drives. Some of them need to be power cycled or hot-plugged to get them to work. You might try using Hermes' cIOS 222 globally to see if that fixes the issue with your drive, but it might just be something you have to deal with on your USB device.

Can you try an older revision of USB Loader GX or try a different loader and see if it works that way?

Any chance of adding the dip plugin from uLoader that fixes the "Please insert disc" issue with games like Metroid Prime 3 and De Blob when using cIOS 222/223?

Move from SD to USB HD ???
===================
I have a working USBLoader GX on a SD cart. I read everything can be run from HDD which look oke for me. I just can not seem to get it working.
What have I done.
I have a WBFS partition 450 Gb. I also have a FAT32 partition 45 Gb.
I copied the following folder to the HDD card
\apps\usbloader gx
\wtheme
\config
\images
\backgroundmusic

In the config file I changes all path to use USB: instead of SD:

When I start USBLoader GX through the forwarder the loader starts en reboots to the main wii screen.
I have also deleted all folders except the apps folder.
Al the same

Can some tell me what to do please?

Just updated through the loader to "5874" or something not correct. After restarting gave me a code dump. Not sure what the deal is. Going back to 575 to make sure it's not just that latest revision. Is this another instance where we need to delete the config file?

Are you using a compatible forwarder? Follow the link in my signature to download and install the newest forwarder if you are not sure.

The fat32 partition has to be partition #1 on the drive.

Also make sure your using the latest forwarder. Not all forwarders look on the hard drive.

Use the latest one here

Highlight the game and press A once. When the little menu with the spinning disc comes up, simply point at and click on the game's title at the top and it will bring up the keyboard for you.

Both partitions need to be set as primary, however, the FAT32 partition must come before the WBFS partition.
