it's a good game, and by the way, the game runs fine FOR ME with the new beta, runs at 100% speed...

This game seems pretty good to me.........you guys do know that if you hold down L before you choose who your gonna duel, that it stays in the high speed mode for the whole match right?
Anyway, the speed with the hold L thing, seems to be about the same as WWE was.

I just activated the speed toggle option and it runs at a perfect speed I had to mute the sound though, because it's horrible at that speed.
I take back what I said about the AI after what Bakura just did in our battle. He summoned a Maha Vailo and equipped it with Black Pendant, Axe of Despair, Horn of Unicorn, United We Stand and another equip magic card and on top of that Maha Vailo's special ability which increases it's attack by 500points for every card equipped to it, bringing its' attack power to a grand total of 7650. I literally felt tears building until my next turn when I drew Spellbinding Circle and then on my next turn I drew Harpie's Feather Duster.
I was lucky that time, but I can only guess what type of decks Yami Yugi and Yami Bakura have as well as Seto and Marik if at this point in the game the duelist are at very substantial levels.
That was very entertaining and a great challenge. Believe me if you don't know how to build proper decks then this game is going to be extremely difficult for you.

the fact that they use good deck doesn't mean they are inteligent
in my deck i could put all the 1900 beatdown card but when then after playing a 1900 i play a succubus knight then i'm stupid!
plus i noticed that in WWE if they started they always played their first monster face down (so at the begin if i was lucky he was going to place a vorse raider and get it killed because of his dumbness) now they always play monster face up and this is even worse when they have card like the elf... because not only they loss the card because of their dumbness but they get their ass kicked!
after seeing this i just hope that WWE 2004 is just a different game because this is even worse than eternal duelist soul

Ok got it.
We have to press L while pressing the character button but the hand is as long as before to move.
[EDIT]But you have to move the choice before choosing the preselecting character otherwise the L button has no effect[/EDIT]
I don't think yugioh_sugoroku is a dice game but does anyone can translate what it says on the website?

btw, this english version has some ODD things in it... the ritual of black chaos claims that it is used to summon the "spellian of black chaos"... wth??

Like I said, it's a board game mixed with this game's (Expert 3) card system. Nintendo also has a site featuring the game.

it's rumoured that the other four fingers are just as long. the hand just has a short thumb.
axkiller, i don't think i can say it any better than x_comp, and i no longer feel like convincing anyone that it is a dice game. there's only a month's wait for it anyway.

in case someone has not already gotten the message:
at least for the first five duelists available at the beginning, the COMPUTER AI SUCKS IN THIS GAME. more examples of why it is incredibly stupid:
-computer equips several equip magics with optional free recursion (axe of despair, horn of light) to a 4*/1800 atk, then sacrifices it for a 5*/1400 atk monster. chooses to place all the equips on the top of his deck.
-computer then proceeds to place maha vailo in defense 2 turns after i rip apart its useless 5*/1400, even though it has several equip cards in its hands, since it drew all those equips from the top of its deck. instead of boosting vailo upto 3500+, it gets creamed.
-computer activates traps even when i have royal decree on the field (negate all traps). needlessly loses trap holes, mirror forces, backup soldier, jar of greed, etc etc. is this even legal in the real TCG?
-sugoroku/grandpa/solomon/trusdale (exodia deck) plays exodia pieces to the field (normal summons, mystic tomato). they get wiped out, of course. when he activates backup soldier, he brings back crap like 3*/600atk normal monsters instead of exodia pieces.
-witch/sangan is destroyed. computer brings crap 3*/600 monsters into hand instead of exodia pieces. sometimes a mystic tomato.
-i have strong monster with trample (dragon's rage (dragon monsters have trample), DNA surgery), and a weak monster on the field in attack mode. computer plays monster with strong attack/weak defense in defense mode instead of playing in attack mode and killing my weak monster.
-i have relinquished on field in attack mode that has absorbed a crappy monster (600atk). computer plays a strong monster and attacks relinquished, loses lots of LP. should just have waited to get a second monster out to destroy relinquished on the same turn. now, i can absorb his stronger monster and attack directly...
-tristan's deck just sucks. why even bother? even the weakest duelists in DM6 (sugoroku/grandpa, anzu/tea) had some strong monsters they could pull out, like st. joan or BEWD, and some decent strategies. why is his deck labelled "high atk"?? even sugoroku (exodia deck) has a BEWD...

And one more example of computer stupidity, this is even impressive for me... I am on a roll and he pulls out a mirror force, but I had a monster in defense because I sensed it... anyways... he gets a chance to sacrifice and he does to bring out a summoned skull and I am thinking, wow, this is gonna be nearly impossible... and after killing the monster I put faced down defense, he sacrifces a 2500 monster for a Morinphen which is 1550/1300 and 5 stars...
Perhaps it is too give bad players a chance, etc... hopefully it gets better, can't get worse!

Yeah, after playing this more, it's pretty obvious that the computer's AI sucks. All those stupid things y'all have already pointed out, and, in addition, it's innate ability to know the defense of any monster set down in face-down defense mode. It's bull.

Hm, Is the Campaign Mode the only mode there? Does it have any scenario in it?

Edit : Japanese version release is at 18th, March, i think it's worth waiting since this DME3 has English in it, so why not this?

Well I decided to stop playing this for awhile because the same thing that happened before, happened again (refer to earlier post) and it happens almost everytime I have a duel with Bakura. It's like the AI pulls the exact card I need in a situation like that, and honestly it really gets annoying after about 3 times in a row.
