I'm a martial artist, a lazy martial artist, I like fighting but I have very little motivation to do sit ups etc. I've not really paid much attention to the DS's releases when it hasn't been a big game that interests me, I've ignored most health/brain training games. I was wondering if the DS has a version of Wii Fit, something like it or something coming out in the future to help make training a bit more structured and interesting. It was that walking game that was just released that made me think about this.

Hmm I just found My Health Coach, but the reviews said that most of the foods listed on the game are american foods and its hard to find English foods on there. But its only £14.99 new with one of those smurfmeters. odd that its £24.99 preowned bit of a strange offer. I might buy it if only for the smurfmeter that I can use with other games as well. What do you guys think?

There's that 'Walk With Me' thing,

'Take a walk on the fun side with Nintendo’s latest lifestyle game, which comes with two very special Activity Meter smurfmeters! Walk with me! Do you know your walking routine? helps you work out if your activity rhythm is up to scratch and provides valuable insight on how to set up a regular routine – the healthiest way to live! quoted from the Game website.

I don't know what it's like never tried it, it's about £40.

EDIT - Sorry didn't read you're post properly, I see you mentioned the Walk thing.

You are better off plugging your headphone into your ds for music when working out.

Its not worth downloading those shit.

I did end up buying My Health Coach yesterday and it arrived today. You know its not too bad, I've only just started using it and I'm already feeling fitter. The only annoying things are that they smurfmeters clip is missing so I'm going to have to make some kind of clip to attach it to my belt and the smurfmeter is sooo sensitive any slight movement and it starts counting, its not so sensitive when its on your belt (Or tucked into your trousers).

I reccommend ''Walk With Me''. I Bought this game last week and it comes with 2 activity metres which record your walking steps, rhythm and length of time walked + speed. You create your own Mii on the DS or you can import from the Wii. Has Minigames such as Illuminate where your step count helps light up a town and there are also online games such as 'Walk to the moon'

10/10

and its worth the money

It measures how many smurfs you've had in a day...

Its the censor, its doesn't want us to say pe.do.

I did one of the walking challenges with the smurfmeter today, it wanted me to take about 6000 steps but I was working so I did over 11000. Didn't think I would take as many as that, I thought it would be really hard to manage but it was quite easy, don't think I'll find it so easy to do on my day off, I might get half that. When I looked at my smurfmeter for the first time when I was at work it said hello, 42110.

Yea, you can run an NES emulator and play Athletic World or Stadium Events and it will use the DS screen to emulate the Power Pad so you can run in the game when needed to.
