Hey, i've collected ID codes for the games on wii, it can be used by programmers or collectors or the soften list can be used by firefox's save manager. I don't post them here cause it's a long list (soften list has 1038 IDs Rough has 2393 IDs).

The simple difference between them that:
Soften list has IDs trimmed to 3 chars, no duplicates, titles may have foreign language cause of the trimming algorithm technique i used.

Rough list has IDs which 4 chars and which 3 chars both, duplicates are there, some titles have english and/or foreign titles too.

By the way, the forth code used only for the region so far as i know, so it shouldn't be that much problem to be missed.

The links:
Rough List
Soften List

If you have any code that's missing from the list, post it here, and i add them in.

The id of the save title for all games is 4 letters, like RSBE for ssbb-usa. The disc is RSBE01, but the id is just RSBE for what maters. The id in ticket and tmd is only 4 letters.

wiiware and vc games are typically 4 chars:

1 = Game type (Arcade and Arcade-Namco use 1 and 2)
  • W = WiiWare

  • A6 = Arcade
  • A7 = Arcade-Namco
  • P = TurboGrafx16
  • Q = TurboGrafxCD
  • C = Commodore
  • E = NeoGeo
  • M = SegaMegaDrive
  • L = SegaMasterSystem
  • R / S / A = Wii
  • G / D = GameCube
  • H = General Channel
  • X = WiiWare - Demos

2 and 3 = unique Game ID

4 = Region
  • A = All regions
  • D = German-speaking regions
  • E = USA
  • F = French-speaking regions
  • I = Italian-speaking regions
  • J = Japan
  • K = Korea
  • L = Japanese Import to Europe
  • M = American Import to Europe
  • N = Japanese Import to USA
  • P = Europe
  • S = Spanish-speaking regions
  • Q = Korea with Japanese language

If you use Configurable USB Loader (CFG) that saves titles.txt in the usb-loader folder on the SD card that has a list of hundreds on Wii games and their full ID number, they aren't alphabetical.

Hello! What is the code for Project Zero 2 Wii Edition (PAL)?

I have been trying SL2P01 but it is not working.

EDIT: Nevermind. I just removed "01" and it worked! Hope this can be helpful for someone else.

01 is the company code iirc. you can get these codes from the meta.xml for wiiu vc games. the first four are the product code, the last two are the last two numbers of the company code. 01, if I'm not mistaken, is Nintendo's company code.
