Six Flags

Have any of you been to Six Flags this summer, or plan on going there?

I've been there all day yesterday going to the water park and riding rollercoasters. It's not a good idea to ride one right after you just ate.

Been to Six Flags: Great America. My company usually has their coworker appreciation days there so it is rented out just for us around the last weekend of april. Its awsome. 20 minute lines at the max. I dont even go during the summer anymore cause I am dont feel like waiting 2 hours for a 40 second ride. (batman)

Anyway Six Flags may be no more if Chapter 11 bankruptcy fails.

I've been to Great America this summer, but not Discovery Kingdom, though, my cousins and I are making plans. Top Gun / Flight Deck FTW.

I have been many times. Like it alot. You can bypass the giant lines if you get a quick pass. Cost more but a lot less standing time. Can't wait till my daughter is old enuff to go.

You can also bypass the lines with a handicapped pass.

Six Flags is lots of fun if you have a pass.

I was in six flags Great Adventures its in New Jersey. Its like a hour ride from me since I live in New york city. In fact I WAS THERE TODAY. Also went to the safari.

I thought bankruptcy was fail? how exactly can bankruptcy fail?

Bankruptcy is the step before failure and if the debts cannot be consolidated and paid off then a business will fail.

Gurnee Illinois, is the only six flags i know, its an hour drive from where i stay, that's pretty cool. I planned to go couple weeks ago with a friend but had some important things to do that day. I was there year before last and rode iron wolf and superman. Water park was closed because it was near October.

I don't care for it personally, just a bunch of over priced goods and long wait lines, especially if you don't have a exit pass or speed pass
best thing to do is forge a fake doctor notice and get a friend to say he sprained his ankle and cant wait in the long lines. They will snap his picture and print you a exit pass, you can take your self and two other friends with you up the exit once every hour.

Maybe they should stop selling season passes. I never understood how those things were profitable.
The only Six Flags near the Bay area is Marine World (now Discovery Kingdom or something). It's not bad, but I prefer Paramount's Great America better.
I want to go to Six Flags Magic Mountain though, I heard that theme park is sick, and it has a record-breaking roller coaster.
