Hacking Guitar Hero World Tour DLC Finally hacked!?

I need some help here please, I did Everything I could but I am have the most blizzar problem, I only tired 2 songs, but they both show up on the dlc list, as Hot blooded. any suggestions to this?

hey DaFees I think you have to have cIOS 38 rev 13a installed, but I'm not positive. It's very easy to find, if you don't have it, I'd try that next.

I think it used to be possible to download any channel you had a ticket for from the wii shop channel, and look they blocked the hackers there too. MrKinator (or whoever developed/used similar tools for RB1/2) may have exposed themselves more to activision by downloading songs they never purchased (assuming they tested it to see if it worked, for research only of course lol!). Instead of many pirates using their tools to nab songs they didn't pay for, only a select few IPs would be seen downloading these files without a record of payment.
Of course this is assuming they're monitoring this sort of thing, which they may start doing eventually. It'd be interesting to see if it actually affects sales at all in the end.

If it really is as easy as people say, we may soon see a RB1/2 DLC enabler and DLC. Hopefully this won't negatively affect paid users who could lose the ability to redownload tracks to a new/formatted wii.

Eh. I suppose this is cool for some. I'd still much prefer to have custom made DLC as I dislike much of the official DLC. Making a dozen or so GH3 discs great and all, but it wouldn't compare to having all that music on one SD card with one disc.

I'm on it, but the audio and chart formats suck...

I found it and did both a network install and then a manual install using a wad file and both times it would not work. I'd try installing a song using ios38 but every time it would return an error message saying error installing ticket (-2011). Unless my cios 38rev13 installer is messed up I don't see what I'd be doing wrong here.

Activision has nothing to do with it, they don't control access to the content. Nintendo stopped the shop channel from downloading pirated content by upgrading the shop and requiring the new version to be used. They can't/won't do that for a game.

The arguments for and against suprise me....

Bottom line is the songs belong to someone else. You take em for free thats illegal.

Yesterday morning I had 3 GH games, 2 RB games all originals and 27 tracks for GHWT bought through DLC.

This morning I have 3 more tracks as that was all I considered any good. I am quite happy to pay for them (one of them isn't out yet lol)

Why do I do it...because I can and to see if I can get it to work. There was a thread some where about "do you spend more time modding than playing"

Thats me. Just love the challenge of getting something to work. I love the fact that all my original games are in a folder in a set of drawers and will stay there now as the USB drive has them all stored.

I am employed on a good wage and would hate to have someone steal my product. Imagine getting up tomorrow and finding your car had been taken.....

But thats just me. I don't have a downer on what you do. Thats your right to choose.

But please quit arguing an unwinnable argument. If it isn't yours and you take it thats theft. If its open source its free. If its copyrighted it ain't

Does anyone know how can I uninstall the song and the ticket? There is no such option in the installer.

I am chuffed as mintballs that you are on a good wage and CAN afford to buy these games original. But what about those that aren't on a good wage and can't afford to buy their games original? Is it fair that they should miss out? I'm sure that alot of users out there will buy games retail when they can afford it. Are you single by any chance with no kids?

Are you installing the song and then afterwards installing the correct TITLE wad? I had the same problem when I didn't install the GHWT_Title_Files_PAL_REV1.wad file after installing 1979.

Why can`t i use my rockband drums in World Tour??
Its works great in IOS223 and all rockband games, but not i World Tour.

Anyone know what the problem is??

Guitar Hero doesn't support Rockband Drums

Also what is the difference between cIOS rev 13a and rev 13b?
Will b also work because that is what I have installed and none of the songs show up in the game.
I have 4.0u and an NTSC game and Console. I am using the original game.

My 360 Rockband drums work in 360 GH Word Tour.

So this is just on wii its not compatible ?

Yeah guitar hero only works with guitar hero peripherals on the wii.
What is the difference between cIOS13a and cIOS13b.

How do you uninstall cIOS's i need to uninstall cIOS 13b?
Also starting with Rock Band 2 you can use all of your guitar hero peripherals with it including the drums but not rockband 1.
