I have a WD MyBook, and it had the spindown issue. Rev 13 fixed it. I don't know about rev12, as I didn't try it. But the drive definitely keeps on being accessed with rev13 (which it did NOT with rev10), preventing any spindown issues. I originally got the initial release, which had an issue with the 002 fix, so I couldn't play Punch-Out anymore, but 13b fixed that.

Saying that im on rev 12 after downgrading from 13/13b becasue half my games didn't work on 13/13b but all work perfectly on rev 12 apart from Mind Body & Soul: Nutrition Matters which i can't get to work on any rev or usbloader (anyone else?)

I think I may know what your problem is... it seems to be a bug in 13b that I had forgotten because it doesn't really effect me (since I turn off my Wii just about every time I finish playing a game). If you load a game, you have to reboot the system before another will run. If you play one game, just return to the Wii menu, then go back to USB loader to load another, it will freeze. You have to do a full reboot before the next game works. It's a fairly major problem I suppose, for some. I don't know if this problem exists with 13a.
13b messed my g/f wii i gave her up now alot of her crap games ( cooking momma and some puzzle game ) dont load up at all just sit at a black screen.. im going to rever back to 10 when i get time to mess with it. she had no problems at all on rev10
I went back to rev10, seems the most stable for now. Plus for some reason I would have to reconnect my drive(seagate freeagent go) every time I opened usb loader gx when using anything above 10, even if the wii was not restarted. pretty annoying.

I installed r13b on 249 but am having troubble with USB Loader GX. Which would be the best to downgrade to? Also is there a special way of downgrading, or do I just run the installer for say r10? Thanks.
I was thinking about reverting back to Rev12 from Rev13b but after reading this thread....I'm thinking Rev10 might be the way to go.
Most of my games worked on Rev12, would even more work with Rev10 or will I lose out on updates in newer Revs?
