I accidentally did a fortnights worth so here are two weeks instead of one. A lot of hyped up games are on the way, I just hope that they are all good. Also EA will ship two sports titles that are also bundled with the Wii Motion+ device!

<!--coloro:#483D8B--><span style="color:#483D8B"><!--/coloro--><u><b>Read to know when a game could be dumped:</b></u>
These dates are what retailers say is out unless stated otherwise, sometimes they make dates up for pre-ordering purposes. These dates could also be "shipping dates" which usually means that that's the date when games get shipped to stores so a game could either be in stores on that day or after. Some games may get delayed some others not listed may appear but at the moment of posting these are correct. Also just because a game is released in stores it doesn't mean that they'll appear on our internets but NA titles usually appear on our 'nets Wednesday night UK time.<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->

<b>WARNING THESE ARE ONLY OPINIONS, DON'T GET YOUR TRAINING BRAS IN A TWIST!!</b>

<b>Region:</b> North America <b>Genre:</b> Turn Based Strategy RPG
<b>Developer:</b> Sting <b>Publisher:</b> Atlus Co.

I'm amazed that you people aren't more hyped over this game. This is the fourth episode in the Dept. Heaven. Episode I was Riviera. Episode II was Yggdra Union and Episode III hasn't actually be revealed but it will be a PC MMORPG. Sting say its the fourth so lets just forget the silliness. The game is said to play like a isometric SRPG but with elements of a shoot-em-up...okey doke.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Somewhere between heaven and the underworld -- in the center of a quiet lake -- stood an ancient castle known as Aventheim. One night, without warning, denizens of the netherworld emerged and slaughtered the kingdom; nary a soul was left alive.

Within an abandoned, long-forgotten church deep in the woods, a wisp is set free. Bereft of memory, it is drawn toward the monster-infested castle and re-awakens the souls of the vanquished knights, leading them back towards the fallen stronghold to confront the very forces of evil that took their lives...

Not easily placed in any one genre, the game requires players to throw out everything they know about roleplaying and strategy games and embrace something altogether new and fresh. Frantic, energetic action mixes with thought-provoking tactical gameplay, all within a beautifully-rendered fantasy setting and presented through a captivating, emotional narrative. Dripping with style and originality, Knights in the Nightmare delivers an unforgettable experience.

* An experience unlike any before it -- Incorporating strategy RPG, real-time strategy, and shooter elements, you've never experienced a game like this. Control a Wisp with your stylus and activate the souls of deceased knights to aid you in destroying foes on the map. Enemies fire bullets in multiple directions, making it vital for players to master the unique touch controls
* Over 100 playable characters -- Find and recruit the ghosts of seven different classes of knights from your kingdom, and learn of their pasts, hopes, dreams, and untimely deaths. Sacrifice their souls to one another to balance their skills and create your ultimate party
* A tale from two perspectives -- This twice-told legend entangles you in a dark and brooding tale that is simultaneously examined through events both past and present. Complete the adventure to unlock the ability to play through the game with a new narrative twist, placing the antagonist in the starring role<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
For those who care, famitsu gave it 32/40 meaning that its pretty good to them. I look forward to playing this game next week.

The first ever English version of Starfy is actually the fifth in the series, the first three were on GBA (the first was actually meant for GBC) and the fourth was on the DS. The fourth game was sort of boring and too easy but still decent, for me this game was better though not as good as the first three games.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->A series of exciting worlds await in The Legendary Starfy. This colorful and imaginative game brings the hit Japanese series to North America for the first time, complete with fun 2D sidescrolling action and comic-style animated movies that bring the game's story to life. Select new stages to play as you go, and learn new abilities that will leave you even better prepared for the challenges ahead.

* Run, float and fight your way through undersea and aboveground realms filled with challenges and surprises
* Return to the map after you've completed a stage to select a new stage to conquer
* Team up with Starfy's gruff-talking sidekick to shapeshift into any of four powerful forms
* Learn new abilities as you go, such as the Shooting Star attack and Air Jump
* Chase adventure and defeat villains in exciting 2D side-scrolling action

Nintendo are hoping that this title will be a hit, it wont be a Mario or Zelda size hit but it does have the potential to be as popular as Kirby. If it does sell well then we could easily see the other games transferred over, though I'd prefer if they started from the beginning. The only thing that could stop this being a hit is those who will ignore it due to its cutsey look, their loss as this is a good series that deserves to be bigger.

Welcome back to 1996...minus the online play. Don't expect anything special or different but those who enjoy retro FPS games from the mid-90's may find some interest in the game. I really want this to be good, the trailers make it look like its at least above average but I dunno I sense badness of Daikatana proportions. If there are any killer frogs on the first level then I'm not gonna play anymore.

Welcome back to 1991...minus the good story. Don't expect anything special or different but those who enjoy retro RPGgames from the mid-90's may find some interest in the game. I really wanted this to be good as its by a Western developer and we don't see them do this type of RPG nowadays. Reviews haven't been too kind either, will this be worth the 5 year wait for something that looks kinda homebrewy? Not sure to be honest, I want to love this game but I don't think its going to let me.

Activision are the new EA (2000 to 2006 era) and are bleeding every franchise it has to death. This is the 3rd DS title in six months but hey if the kids are buying & enjoying them thats ok. Fuck Activision for Ghostbusters though...yeah I'm not letting that go nor the fact that they never made another H.E.R.O. Wait game am I writing up? Oh yeah GH Modern Hits, how about a brief review of each of the tracks? No well fuck ya I'm doing so anyway:
Wolfmother – Dimension (its ok)
Coldplay - Violet Hill (not enjoyed anything of theirs since the Parachutes album, Shiver is their best song)
Lenny Kravitz - Where Are We Runnin (shit)
Evanescence - Sweet Sacrifice (awful)
The Strokes – Reptilia (awesome)
The Bravery – Unconditional (blah)
Fall Out Boy - This Ain't A Scene (...I sort of think its ok)
Weezer - Everybody Get Dangerous (why choose this one out of all of their classics?)
The Kaiser Chiefs - Ruby (its average)
12 Stones – Adrenaline (blah)
Tenacious D – The Metal (awful)
Atreyu – Falling Down (blah)

What no Dinosaur Pile-Up?

If you only own a DSi prepare to use that awful button hack or get a chisel. No loss, get a console if you want a proper GH experience, though to be honest the games went really downhill after GH2.

What awful boxart. The 43rd LEGO game to be released this year but this one is actually a real time strategy game!
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Based on three classic LEGO play -- LEGO Castle, LEGO Pirates and LEGO Space -- LEGO Battles creates a unique extension of the LEGO build-and-play experience that stays true to the customization and humor that are the foundation of LEGO videogames.

LEGO Battles offers a new kind of "build and battle" LEGO gameplay. Sounds like a good game actually, shame its fugly though, seriously I could do better sprites...and so could the GBC. Of course a great game can still be achieved without looks and the DS is in need of games like this even if its aimed at children.

Not expecting much from this game to be honest, A2M are a very mediocre game developer of course saying that I do like the look of their 360 game WET.

There was some screens of the game, it was in full 3D (and very brown) but for some reason I can't find them no more.

What awful boxart. Hudson steps into the Japanese style point & click adventure genre. Will gamers take to it like they took to the Ace Attorny series? Its actually a version of a Japanese game called Miami Kuraishisu and it wasn't really rated well over there.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Miami Law is an action-adventure game packed with all of the ingredients of a prime-time TV show: an intricate storyline with a shadowy terrorist conspiracy, furious shoot-outs in abandoned warehouses, challenging crime-scene detective work and more. Players will have many opportunities to choose their path and change the story – either as the intense Law Martin from the Miami PD or the brainy Sara Starling from the FBI. Players will be presented with different challenges depending on which character they pick – playing as Sara will feature a puzzle-based, mystery solving element, whereas playing with Law will thrust the player into the action, often into car chases or shoot-outs where taking out the bad guys is the only way to get results. Unlockable extras, including Texas Hold ‘Em Poker and Sudoku, are included to take the pressure off players when the tension gets thick.

* A story worthy of its own TV series: Miami Law’s story would fit right in with your favorite TV action/-dramas. It’s got a shadowy terrorist conspiracy involving revolution, nerve gas, a time bomb, and even the takeover of a US Navy missile cruiser
* Action and crime-scene investigation all in one: Survive event sequences such as furious shoot-outs in abandoned warehouses, chase fleeing criminals down the freeway, and disarm bombs mere seconds from explosion. Or tax your brain with event sequences like finding vital fingerprints, analyzing mysterious evidence, or performing video surveillance to save your partner's life. The choice is yours, depending on which character you want to follow
* Choose your character and change the story: Pick your character and watch the story unfold differently, depending on what you do. Choose from Law Martin, the hotheaded action junkie from the Miami PD who’d prefer to shoot first and ask questions later or Sara Starling, the cool, intellectual FBI agent who’s best at analyzing the situation before leaping into the fray. You can even change between the characters at numerous points in the story
* Unlockable extras: Once you complete the game, you'll unlock several additional games and event sequences<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

The biggest Wii RPG game of the year?
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->The world of Fulheim is sustained and has prospered through its use of a luminescent technology known as “leys,” the source of all magical energies. However, the world totters on the brink of collapse as creatures from outside wreck havoc and inner turmoil threatens order and peace. Amidst ever more frequently occurring riots, creatures called “Contaminant Dragons” pose the gravest of threats to the empire of Meridian. As the creatures increase their numbers the environment quivers with a strange phenomenon known as “crystallization.” Reports from across the world credit the mysterious pollution to these monsters, yet killing them would only unleash another series of disasters, as their very bodies poison the air upon death. When word reaches the empire of Meridian that a flight of dragons are en route to the capital, it is up to Bright, a soldier of the imperial army, and Alse, the second prince of Meridian, to repel the danger any way they can. During this period of global turmoil everyone fights to restore harmony. They have yet to find out that it comes with a very high price.

From Marvelous Entertainment and Image Epoch, the same tandem that created the strategy RPG Luminous Arc, comes Arc Rise Fantasia, an epic RPG exclusively developed for the Wii. Arc Rise Fantasia is a product of old and new, combining gorgeous graphics with modern gameplay while bringing classic Japanese high fantasy role-playing action involving airships and dragons, exclusively to the platform.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Famitsu gave it 32/40 so they think its good and there aren't that many decent RPG games on the Wii. Those lovely people at Xseed Games will release this in USA on the 16th November...way too long to wait.

One of the most brilliant tennis franchises come to a Ninetendo home console for the very first time (the GBA did have a title but thats handheld), and boy what a debut this could be!
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Wii owners will finally be able to take to the courts in the fan's number one tennis game. Virtua Tennis 2009 allows you to take on the world's top tennis players. Over 40 vibrant court environments will be playable within single player, multiplayer and online modes. The list of Court Games has also been updated for Virtua Tennis 2009, meaning the return of old Virtua Tennis favorites, some revamped classics, and five new games.

* Fan favorites return alongside each other in completely new minigames, ensuring the tradition is carried on into this new iteration of the series
* The popular World Tour Mode has been given innovative new features offering a fully integrated online system
* Player stumbling adds a new dimension to matches, while improved volleying, serving and net play allow you to express yourself on court like never before<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Unlucky for SEGA is the fact that this won't have its own Motion+ bundle, EA got there before them. This is gonna be a tight battle of the Wii Tennis game but at the moment the legacy of the series edges it ahead for me.

This should have been better, it can't really say much that people want this game more for the inclusion of the classic oldie "Fate of Atalntis" (which can be played via ScummVM anyway).
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Step into the shoes of the legendary hero, Indiana Jones, in an epic adventure! From the previews I've read, it sounds like the game relies on the Wii's waggle controls a little too much. Can't say I'm expecting anything great but maybe something at least decent, saying that it is by A2M.

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->The Sanderson family just got the ultimate in high-tech, house-helper technology: Chibi-Robo. In this inventive, story-driven game, players guide a miniature robot as he completes chores and clashes with enemies in his epic quest to become the highest-ranked Chibi-Robo out there. The living room can be a dangerous place when you're a robot less than a foot tall, so players will need to team up with the native toys to overcome obstacles, rack up points and keep the family happy. Normally running on battery power, Chibi-Robo needs to plug into power outlets with his built-in cord when he runs low on juice. Doing chores has never been so much fun.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
No date for a English version but there should be one seeing that Nintendo won't have to do much for it and it should be a fairly cheap job to do. I loved this game to bits and the DS sequel was pretty good too but its better suite for a home console to me, I hope more people can get this version.

I am SO looking forward to Tiger Woods 2010. Two words.....Frisbee Golf!!!!

This maybe as fun as Golden Tee is in the arcades (laugh if you want, but I loved the GT arcade games). First EA Sports title I've been excited about in a long time.

Black Sigil reminds of me of Seiken Densetsu 3 and it sounds very interesting. The Wii lineup this week is looking very hot too.

Out of all the ones for the DS, only Black Sigil and Knight in the Nightmare interest me. But I'll admit, I'm a bit iffy on their graphics. Sigil looks more like a game for the GBA than the DS [which you can't exactly fault since it's been in development for five years, which means it probably really was for the GBA], and Knights looks.. messy, somehow.
I hope the gameplay and story make up for it, though, since those are what really decides me on the games I play. ~

What's the difference between wanted level and GBAtemp wanted level?

I'm pretty much looking at Knights in the Nightmare and LEGO Battles.
I've been waiting for Knights in the Nightmare for quite some time, but this is the first time I've heard of lego battles. Seems interesting though.

Wanted level = How much I want a game.
GBAtemp Wanted Level = The impression of what I think the forum in general currently thinks.

Knights of the Nightmare doesn't look too great at all and played the Legendary Starfy already which is a good game, however Black Sigil and Arc Rise Fantasia are the games I'm getting.
