Gaming Is it safe to keep your wii on for a long time?

I need to keep my wii on for around 31 hours straight because i am doing the endless setlist 2 on rock band 2 (84 song set) and i need to keep my wii on paused and playing from 5 oclock pm today to around 10 or 11 oclock pm tomorrow because of school and on overnight. Is this safe? or will it overheat?

yes it is.......ive kept it on for about 2 days max but i have a crystal cooling stand attached

I kept mine on for 5 days once without knowing. It was fine. If your game is paused, the processor isn't used very much (for most games), so it doesn't generate that much heat.
