I voted no. "Some" of the games my bro burned on a +r worked to an extend, but I'd constantly get DRE's. And the majority just didn't work. So I voted no, they don't work for me.

Only the Verbatim DVD-R discs worked pretty good. I don't have a mod-chip though. And by now, I use the USBloader, which works much better than the backup loaders.

What the ?

If you want to get to know if there are any Wiis that can't read dvd+r that are correctly booktyped to dvd-rom as they have to be in order to work, then write that into the topic!

I have a launch day Wii, and only DVD-R discs work. DVD+R discs don't work even with the booktype set to DVD-ROM.

My computer or my nero can't change booktype! I got a very cheap computer with a low procesor.

Then stop complaining, it's known sice the backup loader was leaked(!) that dvd+rs ONLY work if the booktype was set.

Yes and yes. Worked on my iMac using OSX's Disk Utility on backup loader and also Wiikey2 for Wii games and also with imgburn burning 360 games.

Sony DVD+R work fine... My DVD drive closes them as DVD-ROM.
