Alright guys with a little tinkering around I have found out that Wii Users can finally watch Hulu.com Videos on their Wii without Modifying anything.

1. Go to Tversity.com and download the Latest Version of Tversity (Make Sure you Grab the PRO Version) or just click HERE to d/l

2. Install Tversity and all the Wizards to your PC making sure to keep all the settings default.

3. While installing Tversity it will Ask you for your Hulu Username enter that information.

4. Your HULU Queue will be available as a Menu Item in the Tversity Menu.

5. Start up your Wii and go to the Internet Channel and enter your Local Address more than likely : 192.168.1.1
(If you are unsure of what your router's local address is you can find it out by starting the Command Prompt and typing: NETSTAT -N
a bunch of text will scroll just look at the IP addresses they should all be the same an look like 192.168.1.1.)
Write this number down you are going to need it in a second.

6. In your Wii's Internet Channel enter this URL: http://192.168.1.1:41952/flashlib
(It is extremely important that you include the http:// and the :41952/flashlib when putting in the URL! And of course, if your IP address was something other than 192.168.1.1 you need to make sure that is correct as well.)

7. You Should Now See the Tversity Menu and there in the options should be an item that says "Hulu Queue (username)" just click that and it will display the Videos in your HULU queue. Click a Video to watch... it's that simple.

8. Keep in mind that Hulu.com does not work (yet) but if you want to watch anything just add it to your Hulu Queue and refresh your Tversity Media and it will be available on your Wii.

Enjoy Hulu on Wii Guys!!

This Also Works with Joost, ABC.com, CBS.com, NBC.com, BBC iPlayer and a whole bunch of websites that stream Premium Content.

Sound Issues:

# Make Sure your Sound card and sound driver has Stereo Mix capability (or a cable connecting Line Out to Line In.)

# On Vista Stereo mix must be manually enabled here's how:

Step 1. Right click on the speaker icon by the clock in the lower right, and select Recording Devices.

Step 2. Right click in the 'blank area' and select Show Disabled Devices.

Step 3. Now you may have a lot more items in the list. Find one called What U Hear or Stereo Mix.

Step 4. Right click on the one you found, and select Enable.

Step 5. Next, right click on it again and select Set as Default Device.

Step 7. Done! YAY!

On XP it is usually not necessary.

# On Vista desktops speakers or headphones must be connected (or else the device is disabled by Vista automatically and there will be no audio).

# On all operating systems you will need to mute the audio on the machine running TVersity while playing premium web content since the audio will also play on the computer. On some sound cards you may need to mute the external speakers or connect headphones since muting the audio on the computer will also mute the audio on TV.

Why this is works is because Tversity "transcodes" the Hulu Stream into Flash that the Wii Can display

This really works guys. If anyone has tried it out yet and got it going let me know

I thought that only TVersity Premium had the Hulu and other internet streaming functions :S

IT does that is why I told people to get the PRO version. Tversity "trusts" it's users that is why they will let anyone download their PRO Version and use it for has long as they like with no restrictions. If you are satisfied with the software Register it... and give a little bit of money as a donation towards Tversity's development.

Hulu works I tested it myself. I am watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia right now

I tried it, but the video was stuttering, windowboxed, and of less then stellar quality. I think a dedicated hulu player would be a good idea, but I wouldn't know how to begin to do that.

If the video is not looking right to you then you can always mess with the settings on Tversity on your PC just go to Settings> Transcoder and there is a good amount of settings to mess with you can Optimize the video Playback for Speed and things like that.

Also if you "waggle" the Wii Remote near the bottom of the video the Original Hulu Controls will pop up and allow you to Fullscreen the Video.

If you have your PC there why bother watching stuff on the Wii instead of your PC?

So you can watch on TV instead of on the computer screen.
Pretty important if more than one person wants to watch. It is much easier to watch on my 42 inch plasma than my 15.4 inch laptop.

So I got this working fine, but the video was a little choppy (tho I believe that is more because of the computer being on wireless and the Wii too). I know I can change some settings, but I have a desktop coming Tuesday. I know this is off topic but anyway, what is the best way to stream Hulu content to my TV, I have 3 options.
1. XBMC on my original xbox with the plugin (this would remove the need for a PC running a mediaserver), tho I don't know how well it would work with my Xtv theme.
2. Run TV Versity/Playon on the desktop streamed to my HR23 DVR receiver
3. This method on the Wii.

Anyway sorry for going off topic just wondered if anyone has similar setups and what has worked best for them.

Oh my gosh. I'm such a n00b. Please don't throw tomatoes at me.

I've installed tversity on my laptop. (I gave it my hulu info during set up).

Now I try to go to http://xx.xxx.xx.xx:41952/flashlib (the X's being my IP addy) and I'm getting the following error:

You tried to access the address
http://xx.xxx.xx.xx:41952/flashlib
which is currently unavailable. Please make sure that
the Web addres (URL) is correctly spelled and
punctuated, then try reloading the page.

I'm not completely computer stupid, but apparently, juuuust computer stupid enough to mess this up.

Is anyone willing to hold my hand in this?

I'll be the "best mom ever" if I can get this done for my 13yo son. LOL

Are you behind a router on a home network? I haven't done this but you will likely need your computers internal network IP address rather than your external internet IP. So, open a run window (win key+r). then type 'cmd' into the box and pres Enter. A command prompt window will come up type 'ipconfig' into this window and it will give you your computer's internal network IP address. Use this address to connect to your PC it will likely be inthe form 192.168.1.xxx or 192.168.0.xxx
