Is it just me, or Beta 11 lags more than Beta 10 (after playing next song)?

Mine lags too, and creates a bit of distortion if I switch to the next song in the middle of playback. It was much better during the early MS2 and M3Sakura versions.

I'm not sure about the previous versions but Beta 12 (which came out this morning, note that I'm Australian) seems to be perfect when playing the next song and also has no distortion when switching to a different song in the middle of playback.

MS2 beta 12 is out now, but the download link on the first post is still stuck on beta 10. Why can't another member of the staff GET OFF THEIR BUTT and keep the links updated if/when Densetsu3000 and Toni are too busy to do it? It's not exactly a taxing task, after all.

How 'bout it staffers? People supporting each other by lending a hand in times of need? Kinda like what happens in a community?
Oh wait... isn't GBAtemp supposed to be a community?

The small print in the site logo says it is, but I'm having a hard time believing it. They say the proof is in the pudding, but all I'm seeing right now, is a bunch of crumbs.

What the s**t, unz. Did you not at all pay attention to what was said in the very first post?

For one, it's not a matter of simply changing the links and updating the damn post; there's also translations to be done for every addition Moonlight placed. Another, Densetsu3k & Toni have worked hard for all GBAtemp-official-English MoonShell 2 beta releases. And now they're resting from doing anything for this thread for obviously reasonable things. After all their work, don't you think they deserve that time anyway?

If you want the update so-f**king-badly, then simply check the most recent posts. You don't have to go on insulting the entire GBAtemp and the community just for this. Don't you even dare.

So download the most recent beta, put it in your DS, shut up and get away from this thread. You'll be doing the community a favor.

Yeah, had a feeling this would be the kneejerk reaction my post would get. Way to not read what I wrote, Blackiris.

I'm TRYING to get the other staff members to lend a hand to Toni and D3k. I really appreciate what those two guys have done and yes, I totally agree that they deserve a break. I don't see anyone else helping out while they're away though.

The main translation heavy lifting has already been done. Language options can be set in Moonshell 2 with a single click. The only thing that might need to be translated would be the changelog. Google translate will give us a 'good enough' idea of anything new until D3k gets time to catch up.

Moonlight is saying that the final version will be released soon, so it doesnt sound like there will be many new features added.

The only problem I have, is that the rest of the staff has let the links go stale in the first post. Until Densetsu recently made his last update, it was looking like this thread was abandoned. That's bad and it reflects poorly on the whole community.

Is that what you want?

Oh thank God that's what you meant. And I'm sorry too, I kinda let myself go off there...^^; It all actually depended on how you would reply to my post, though. And it ended up well. Because of the way you put a picture and all, I wasn't expecting that kind of reply.

I understand now that all you wish for is to properly represent this great community through this thread. But dude, you could've done that in a nicer way...you know...not including the second part of your post? That's really what pissed me actually, and if I didn't, there would be a bunch of others replying like how I did.

So it's better for me to be the first, thus allowing you to explain yourself better with your recent post. Once again, sorry if my already-censored-angry-rawr post actually affected you (in this case it probably didn't, but it's not bad to put this anyway), and thanks for really caring about GBAtemp.net that way.

Yeah no problems.

Sorry if I shocked you. It wasn't my intention to incite a riot or anything. Cheers for helping to state my case clearly. I admit that I come across as too frank, but the sooner someone gets on this, the better.

Peace

Anyhow, if anyone saw what unz and I were talking about, since Densetsu3k has to handle much more important things as of now, can anyone (or any mod) at least update the first post with something like "MoonShell 2.00 Beta 12 (Not Translated)" or something, and not remove the link for the GBAtemp-official-English version?

I used one (not made from me) on Beta 11 and it works.. but now it doesn't on the latest one.

It seems in Beta 12, some skin items were changed.

Hmm? What was changed in the skin?

I'm holding off downloading any newer betas until anyone gets back and decides to make the GBAtemp-official-English version; I don't really mind sticking with Beta 10...

But, if skin items were changed, then I would have some updating to do

In order to get your skin to work with Beta 12 to just have to adjust the size of Custom_BG.bmp from 256X384 to 256X512 and then run the makeskin batch file again. Other than that, it might be worth checking if there are any other cosmetic changes that have been made since you made your skin. For example, I just noticed I need to add a shuffle button to mine for the mp3 player, and that days of the week have been added to the screensaver.

Fuck, moonshell is awsome. I'm using it as firm replacement and it rocks. Altough i'm not happy with the skin. Are any other skins appart from those? I might try to port sakura's to M2

Im using moonshell 2 beta 12 as default OS on my acekard 2. I can also boot AKAIO when i exit to firmware from moonshell ( If i need ). Also i have the AKAIO loader installed in moonshell, so basicly it looks/works like Sakura. The only dissapointment, is the skins.. as litium stated above. Need more skins! @ least you can custom your own background. XD if anyone find skins or make skins, please post them =)
