Can I copy homebrew channel to SD and use the SD to hack my friend's 4.0 unhacked wii?

no each channel is installed with your wii's key so it will only work on your console not your friends sorry.

Yeh if you could do that, people could also buy WiiWare games and copy them over to other Wiis. Of course they wouldn't want that would they?
