PrixM said:I know what you are talking about but:
ID the first 6 Bytes
Name Byte 32 ....
Not encrypted so i can read it without any problems.
Size depends on Partition table
This part is encrypted (need wbfs_win to get)
The Estimate Size ist not the real Partition size.
It´s the size the partitions need on the USB Device
And this is a combination of Real size and USB Sectorsize (Different for every USB Device)
So the Estimate Size is different for every USB Device.
But it should be possible to get something like a real partition size if no usb is there.
The estimated size normaly souldnt be very different.
If i have a sectorsize of 512b or 15KB the differenz in calculation has a maximum of 14,5KB.
I never checked how big the Sectorsize for all USB Device´s is.
If you look ata file properties on your windows you will see 2 sizes.
1. Real size i.e. 5,80 MB (6.091.224 Bytes) (we should be able to show this without USB)
2. Space neded on disc i.e. 5,81 MB (6.094.848 Bytes) (This is the estimated size/Depends on Sector or Blocksize)
thanks for the clarification.
I thought the estimate size was simply the "real size"
I did not test on different USB drive to see if there was a difference.
I will do the test just for fun !
now I understand why you did not change the wbfs_win.....
Cheers,
