Is there any tool/homebrew app out that would allow for a remote upload of games to WBFS?
I know there is FTPii but it doesn't mount WBFS....

Is there any way to do this so that we don't have to unplug our drives every time?
thanks

Wireless transfers haven't been implemented yet, but it's not difficult. It's just a matter of adding tinysmb code to one of the loaders and mounting an ISO from a shared directory.

I was talking about ripping remotely, not playing via SMB. You can't do that even on Xbox with a wired ethernet connection.

Can't you just use the old 'Wii DVD Dumper'. With this homebrew you just put a Wii Game in, the Wii rips it and send it over the net to any computer.

So, you wanna do the Internal Mod? You also desire to send files to your HDD from your comp wirelessly?

Try the USB Device function in FTPii. See if that works.

Also, didn't the guide used the Male to Female USB Wire? (Like, a USB Slot extender). You then plug a male to male wire outside of the Wii (The normal USB wire). That way, wouldn't you be able to transfer games to and fro your PC?

As i said in the first post, FTPii doesn't mount/recognize the WBFS partition...

Although i guess the USB way would work, the closest computer is too far away to send a cable because it would stretch the length of a room with no way of hiding it

Just thought of something, seeing as linux apps can be ported to an app, would it be possible to port a wbfs manager for linux to a HBC app so that you can ftp the iso file to one partion then use the app to install it to WBFS.
Or even a WBFS app that can see SMB shares and install that way
