Very nice demo, I like the up-and-down sliding effect.
On the pure aesthetic side there are 2 things to add/change IMO :
1) Work on the mirror effect (not very important but very nice!), someone already mentionned it before but I don't remember who, sorry...
2) Remove the transparency on the 2 stacks of covers on each side, I find opaque covers more beautiful.
3) (yes I know, I said 2) Add the ability to switch from this mode to a mosaic (like system menu). Good for people who have a lot of games ...

On the dev side, I agree with people who said it could be good to merge this GUI with the core loader or to separate front (gui) from back (core) and provide a clear api to communicate, but I understand it can be hard (or maybe impossible) to have a such organisation ...

Yeah realized that's true... releasing the source would mean 100.000 different modifications of this modifications = epic chaos

Hi there!

Congrats on your GUI demo! Looks good.

I'd like to propose to you that we join forces to create the ultimate GUI. I have created already a loading GUI and I think it is a great opportunity to join our 2 GUI's into a single one so that users can switch between fronends.

That way your concept will get a game launcher and my gui will get another look to it.

Have a look at my launcher and if you are interested drop me a line!

Looking forward to any cooperation!

Do you mean like now with the 'classic GUI' SD/USB Backup Loader (there is even a wiki to list the different versions ... http://wiki.gbatemp.net/[...]_Releases) or WBFS tool/manager ?

Seriously, release source and stimulate source improvement isn't a bad thing, if you're not convinced, just read the famous The Cathedral and the Bazaar, but to be efficent, you need a minimum of organisation and a lot of time (that is not an unlimited resource !), or it is indeed an epic chaos !

Yes it isn´t a bad thing but honestly look on all the USB Loaders released they are basically all the same and if everyone (with coding experience) had worked together we would have much faster a "Ultimate Loader".
And that´s what will definatly happen with this loader too if he release the source everyone even if he can´t programm will take it and makes his "own" special loader.
So i would say only thing we should do is help him a bit for example code something usefull and give it to him (for example the Motion controll or show the Text under Covers) so he can do his work much faster.

Something people can do to help is scan their Wii covers, all the way around, back to front, so if we get the 3D covers, he'll have something to skin them with.
