ok, here's my comment... the game is great, but the only problem is the movement.... but i like it anyway, try it

*EDIT*

wait, you can change the movement configuration, it's better using only the up arrow... go for it into control configuration

, now its ok

one of two things:Â either there should be fewer 128mb roms, or the carts have to get bigger.
But there are bigger carts already. Flash carts anyway. You can get up to 1GBit carts now although they're expensive and rare. 512MBit ones are more common.

Anyway, interested to see what this PC port to the GBA will be like

Ah, I just don't know how to put this in my comment.

The game is okay, it's a good game to play in your spare time, but other than that, it's just a normal, good GBA game. The controls aren't bad, but I guess it's just because I haven't really played games like this before. Try it if you like. I'd say this is for Max Payne fans only.

I'm amazed at what they managed to pull off on the GBA. I really am. It's very, very impressive in my book and I'm already hooked on it. It may not go down in the annals as one of the best of all time for the GBA, but it's very well done. It could have sucked so very badly.

Well I've played up to the beginning of Part 2 (after only playing barely an hour, this is going to be a short game). First off, I gotta say, it IS as good as IGN says for the most part, though if you've played and beaten this on the PC or another console, than this version is merely a novelty.

The offscreen fighting doesn't get on my nerves, or really happen all THAT often, but sometimes you can get hit before you really know where it's coming from. The game is layed out just like the original version, only isometric, so the view is limited and the camera moves kind of erratically when you change direction. I think it's really great that they kept all the naughtiness in from the previous incarnations. I'm surprised they were able to get away things like Rico's 'implied' blowjob, and fighting him while his pants are around his ankles. There's a lot of gore (assuming you keep that enabled) and the envorinment is surprisingly destructable, for a GBA game. You can shoot holes in walls, blow up water coolers and corkboards, etc. At first I thought the game was just way too hard, but I just needed to get used to aiming in certain directions, and instictively using bullet time every time the battle music comes on.

If I had to sum the game up in a single word, it would be 'surprising.' They really did replicate the feel of the original only on a very limited piece of hardware. It's not a perfect experience by any stretch of the imagination, but it's still pretty true to the Max Payne that we've all come to love.

It's a very nice game, one of the best for GBA for me.
It's not max payne 2 story but the same than the PC one (max payne).
And yes the controls are OK
