I'm still downloading it (damn 56k) but I've been waiting for this since the first picture that was put up months ago, add the name Treasure and this might be as good as gold....

As long as it's not like tiny toons that is...

okay, the gameplay feels really smooth. the storyline is there, though very brief, which is good when you compare it to the long as hell dialogue in gegege no kitaro.

this feels great. i'll have to play it some more, but like angelical said (how did he play so fast?) this should be a great game. my only beef is that the player name is only three letters. what are we, in the ice age?

edit: my d/l is a 64mbit game. i don't think i have an overdump. anyone confirm the size of this thing?

But, is it still worth playing even though it's in Japanese?

Not multi-language as far as I can work out (checked all the options).

The game itself (so far) is self explainatory.. Jump, fire, laser etc.

US / Euro releases won't be too far behind.

jahaven, it's a lot of fun. it's an action game, so i don't think it's going to affect the gameplay much.

as for the storyline, just look up astro boy somewhere. he's all over the place.

the controls are simple, as angelical said, and the tutorial in the game is top-notch.

Errr.. In general I'd assume "most" would play on a Gameboy Advance or Emulator. If you find other uses for it they might be indecent and medication might be required, but that's a whole new thread.

P.S - It is indeed 64Mbits, corrected title.

I know much from the storyline, watched the first episode for the last two series including manga anyways.

Astro Boy was once a boy of a scientist. He was driving a car that one day, and got in an accident and died. The scientist thought he could bring him back by turning him to a robot. Did it. Later on he abandons him because he doesn't act like his own son was; his height doesn't change, etc. sort of stuff. That's all I know about the entire series.
