I know something better than a homebrew to un-ban, a way to avoid to get even banned in the first place:
Don't cheat online. That's very simple and easy.

its not too hard to make an IP changer for the wii.

Nintendo hasn't banned any FC's only IPs so far.

see I cheat, like Zelda's moon jump, just to see the inner workings of the game, but cheating online? that is lame as hell and i'm glad nintendo put a stop to that

AFAIK they ban your MAC address (not IP nor FC) which makes the problem a lot more problematic than it might otherwise be.

"I bought this Wii on Ebay and it's banned from wifi , can you unblock it?"

Worth a shot

MAC spoofing is a pretty trivial thing to do on a computer, it really shouldn't be hard to make a homebrew app to do this on a Wii.

damn, fucking lamers can't think far ahead.
if they don't ban online cheating, more and more people will start cheating online and eventually there won't be any point at all to play online.
if you are too sucky to play the game, play something else, lamer.

no one cares what people do or how people cheat off-line, but as far as online is concerned, just play the way it's meant to be played. simple as that. no bull shit.
