yea it came w/ a manual but i don't understand what it means... i put the link into the thing and it says it can't connect to the subscription

since the bypass protection cheat is not needed right after the game just finished loading, I don't see why you need to patch the game then put it on M3Real, just using the bypass cheat should work fine on M3Real...

Wrong, the game requires the cheat to always be on no matter what. If you turn it off at any point and save, the game screws up.

you got me wrong, I'm saying you don't need to patch the game then use cheats...just use the bypass cheat without patching your game

You sure about that? Because when I first only used the bypass cheat, I couldn't get off the ship, but after I patched the game I could. But that's just a problem with the M3's cheat system, right?
Anyway, when there is a update which will fix the problem, and I use a clean ROM and I renamed my old save file to the new name of the ROM, I could just use cheats, right? And if that doesn't work, I will try fa_demion's method, thanks for that.

i tried evrything, all of them, one at a time, i also paired them all up. Nothing worked. When I paired up the 1st and 3rd one, it did appear the chips, but only on the upper screen, it showed nothing on the lower screen so I cannot add them in my folder.

P/s: I tried it, it worked, but it is not the get all chips code, it only add 99 more chips for everything I have in my folder =.=

i looked to the changelog that there was tom clancy endwar (u) & the settlers (e) cheat on it..
but there is no cheat on both of them

i tried both usa & eur version for both,
anyone know why? thx

I hacked a small set of items for DQV - best used near start of game.
It fills the 1st 26 slots of the bag with 16 ea of:

Orihalcon Fangs
Metal king sword
Flametang boomerang
Grigham whip

and then 96 ea of:

I "installed" the newest CHEAT.DAT on my R4, but it doesn't show any cheats for Retro Game Challenge.
Not in the official R4 firmware, neither in the YSMenu firmware.

Can anyone help me with this?
It shows cheats for almost all my games, but not RGC.

Maybe you should place the RGC cheat folder (in the cheats database) to the top of the list !

I have the same problem with some games with my M3 simply ! The cheats are in the database, but i can't activate them (they don't appear) !

Usually i rename the cheat folders like this : !00"name of the game"
For example :
!00Worms Open Warfare
!00Retro Game Challenge

To finish you have to sort games by title ! Don't forget to save the cheats database ! ^^

And it should work !

PS : And check if the game is "Enable" in the database ! ^^

I tried to get a code called "All wild pokemon are shiny" and it didn't do it. Does that mean it's done only by chance?

I tried it with the game Pokemon Diamond.
