Well someone said that Metroid Prime Wiimake did indeed have language files for both English, Italian and a few more languages in the PAK files.

There is no Tool (the only thing you will need is a HexEditor and knowledge) !! It´s very much possible that it´s not easy to do.
Anyway the US/EU game release is not so far away

Thx for the info guys, I was under the wrong impression there was a tool.

I'm desperate to see the control options as the default ones are not to my liking and it doesn't feel as good as they were in MP3.

Pause the game (press 2). Press minus. Press A on the first option. Change it to the third setting. That's all you should have to do.

I have tried this but found nothing changed.

The actual button configuration doesn't change. The camera and movement become much more responsive.

So does anyone know how to edit it to make it English? Is it against the rules for me to be asking this? >_>
You use a hex editor to change the hex numbers to the right ones to make it in English. Just wait.

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

i dont have an sd card adapter but I have an usb sd card adapter

    For your R4
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
but why choose it over ysmenu @Psionic Roshambo?

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
