I own all 3 consoles, and i love my modded Wii, but I play It the least out of the other two(yes I play my PS3 more). My 360 gets the most play. IMO even though the Wii has more software the amount of quality titles. Is equal to , or less than the quality titles on the PS3. The 360 has more quality titles than both.

Haven't we done this thread already...countless times?

But what the hell, I'll play...

Putting graphics and all that aside, the 360 bends Wii over and rapes it in terms of quality games.

In terms of hardware reliability, however, the 360 is Wii's prison bitch.

That clear enough for ya'?

Pretty much agree with what he said, I really think the Wii is just for casual players mostly....

Wii > X360

I dislike the American way of games like FPS and Simulators, they all are the same.

While I can play in the X360 Halo3 (FPS), CoD4 (FPS), Gears of War 2 (TPS) and GTA4 (Free Roam Third Person Shooter), on Wii I have Super Mario Galaxy (The Best 3D Plataform Ever), Metroid Prime 3 (Frist Person Adventure), Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Plataform/Fighting), Tatsunoko vs Capcom (Classic Fighting) and No More Heroes (Action/Adventure).

But X360 have some "Most Have" games, so the ideal is have both, Wii60 rox!!!

To the lad who said that CoD WaW had better controls on the 360 than on the Wii: Boy, you are crazy.
Let me put it this way: I prefer to play it on my Wii than on my PC (which runs it fine, and I can even use a controller if I wanted [which I dont, I hate dual-analog]).
Once I manage to get my Wiimote properly working on my PC... Then the ultimate FPS experience shall commence =p
Oh and yeah, since I have a decent PC, a 360 is basically worthless for me.
If I had $1000 laying around I'd get a ps3,tho.

360 owns PC period. Who wants to keep buying new parts to upgrade their PC to be able to run the new game? With a system you just buy the game open the case and play no hardware upgrades needed.

The wii controls suck, my 360 live trial expired (i'd built up to level 20), so took the wii version online.

Went on downfall online and within a couple of minutes i had 12 kills and was top of the leaderboard on the map, mainly through luck. I was frustrated by how long it takes to swing around 180 degrees, the aiming system's not great (it's much better than COD3 though), and it's more down to luck than being able to play the game, not to mention the worthless 'motion' control of reloading and grenades.

I don't like the whole PC FPS crap anymore, if you're not on there day and night you'll just get killed everytime when you do try and play, there's more skill to playing on a console than a PC, it's more of a level playing field instead of nerds with a *000 DPI mouse and 1337!!111 keyboards. I've got most of the steam collection and i don't go on them very often because it's more fun playing on a console, would buy UT3 for the 360 but i've got it on PC and there's apparently no one ever online on the 360, but it feels better with a pad.

Btw, COD on PC doesn't natively support pads, and if you use one of these utilities that maps the pad to the mouse and keyboard, you'll get your arse handed to you on a plate because of the people with a *000 DPI mouse and 1337!!111 keyboards. I bought the 360 because in terms of bang for the buck it wipes the floor with pc gaming.

Most of my friends all have 360s, and a few of them have a Wii. Personally, I don't really like any of the games on 360, and I've just been in my 'Safe Zone' by buying Nintendo my entire life. And I'm fine with that. But yea, I think that they are both still good consoles.

Takes too long to swing around? Now I know you're trolling.

Set the camera response to steep and the camera turn speed and ADS speed to insane. That's plenty fast, faster than any controllable speed on the 360 using sticks.

I have an xbox and wii and the controls on the Wii are 100x better than using analog sticks. You have to use auto aim on the xbox, it's like driving a tank.

Any decent Wii player using the remote playing a decent xbox player with sticks, well it wouldn't even be a close game. The Wii player would own. It's easier using the wii remote than using the mouse and keyboard and that's considered the quickest way to play.

Own both of them

360 is legit ; Wii is chipped

12 360 games purchased ; Around 100 Wii games "owned"

Haven't powered up my Wii for 6 months now - Go figure.

I would say go with the 360 right now, although I am a wii owner and a nintendo fanboy, we need to face the facts. There hasn't been a AAA title for the wii for years. I would say the last game I played was TOS2 and although it was a fun and enjoyable game it is not a game that would make you want to buy a wii for. As well if we look into the future wii game releases what do we have?

The only decent games I see are Fragile (which i'm not even sure is getting a NA release) and conduit. That is unless you enjoy games like sing it high school musical or some dora the explorer game. I fine example of how much nintendo cares about the hardcore gamers is the port dead rising: chop til you drop. They cut everything out of the game (no jumping, photography, 10 zombies a screen, objectives). Unless a new zelda or mario game is coming soon I see no hope for the more hardcore wii gamer audience in the future.

Translation: "My grandma can beat me at FPS, so I'm gonna say there's more skill with autoaim!"

I own both consoles. At first I bought a Wii and having enough from the crappy graphics I bought a x360.
The graphics of the Wii just suck as hell. Over 80% of the Wii Games are casual, crappy games with really NO innovative point.

Now I played the x360 and I LOVE it!
The games are awesome, the graphics are amazing and Xbox Live is just a DREAM!

I hope Nintendo will die bringing out such shitty consoles and games. The DS is still awesome for me

Microsoft deserves it's benefits. Not like Nintendo.

I am Nintendo fanboy really. I only have the Wii as a console. It is a great system, but in my opinion 2008 was not really great in terms of games for the Wii (for the DS in the other hand it was awesome).
I personally think that the 3rd party developers, with the exception of SEGA maybe, are not delivering a constant stream of good games. That is lacking in the Wii for me.

Also I think that Nintendo is "sitting over its pot of gold", and they are not adding much to its console right now. Maybe the WiiMotion Plus will prove me wrong.
I will buy a 2nd console soon, because I am tempted by games such as Final Fantasy, MGS, Little Big Planet and so on.

Im growing tired of the "normal" games

By "normal games" i mean "overall shooter games you probably see more often on the XBOX 360"

I dont have a 360, but i went on a quest to try a lot of 360 games on my pc.

Most of then went uninstalled after two days.

They´re all the same! You shoot, you run, you shoot more. Everything is brown. Just shoot. Nothing more to do.

I got a huge mini gun-ish weapon and went in a shooting spree, laying 300 rounds on a building full of enemy soldiers.

The enemies didnt fear for their lives. They didnt even crouched at the windows. They just kept shooting at me like i was a steady target humming a tune.

They made so much progress in the graphics department... and the AI still as stupid as in Wolfenstein 3D

On this same game, five minutes into it, my AI controlled team mate shooted an russian drunken soldier. He was just passing by, drinking, bang, got shot. No questions were asked, nobody touched the subject after.

This violence per violence Bush-era approach is totally bollocks. I want violent games, but they need some context, some moral code or at least to be a comic affair (like madworld and No more heroes)

The game was Call of Duty Modern Warfare. Already uninstalled.

I think the wii has more room to lead the games forward. New control, new ideas.
I has a long path to walk yet. But im willing to bet on it.

I own more 360 games than Wii, though it's so close it doesn't matter.

I'd been playing Too Human (so underrated) and Forza 2 on 360 since Xmas, the Wii hadn't been powered on by me since October..... little un got Shrek the Third for it as a present.

And that's the difference right there.......
Wii is for fun, 360 is for more serious type games. My mum has seen me play on computers and consoles since I was about 5. 25 years later and she played her first game, wii sports bowling.

Wii is a VERY, VERY good family console, I can't imagine my mum and my daughter playing on another system together, they'd get bored.

360 is slowly turning into a bad Wii clone (avatars, Channel style menu). If you've got one that still has the blade system FFS don't go online and update it.

I have both 360 and Wii, but oddly enough I have more fun with my Wii than my 360.

As everyone here has pointed out, 360 does have alot of great games and the online is amazing, much more than Wii does. But I can say for myself, I've had alot more fun with Wii than 360. If you don't play online much, the single player experience on Xbox can get a bit lonesome. Wii's multiplayer games are just simply fun.

It could also be because shooters don't appeal to me much and I do like the vibrant colors of some Wii games, like Super Mario Galaxy, Wario Land, or even Klonoa: Door to Phantomile.
