I'd like to replace my R4, seeing as it is outdated. What's the best cart to buy? I'd like to get a CycloDS, but I don't have that much money right now, so I'm looking at more budget type cards. Suggestions and reasons would be appreciated.

Save up for the cyclo they're the best hands down, better to buy a good card then a cheap piece of crap, stick with your R4 and save up for the cyclo

Well if you don't want a Cyclo ds evo,you could try a cheaper card the Edge card is not bad.

Just for playing games. There are other cards aswell.

Cyclo's are the best, although pricey. Maybe an AceKard. Im trading for 2 NPlayers + EZ Flash, in the trading forum if your interested.

The M3DS Real has a lot of features but costs much less than the CycloDS. That's always an option worth considering. Also, this thread will probably be closed soon since there's a topic about asking which flashcart to get right on the first page. We get way too many of these threads.

So far the M3 Real with GBA expansion has been great for me. I can run all the homebrew I want, and all the games work. I have heard that some cards are better than it, but so far this has been all I have ever needed. And its cheap too!

Thanks for the replies. Also, I kinda realized that these topics appear quite often. Sorry, but I needed to ask people.

Acekard 2 with AKAIO custom firmware (download from the Acekard forum here on GBAtemp) is hard to beat factoring in quality and price, but if price is no object, then 10 million Cyclo fans can't be wrong.

cyclo DS is good

if you want good cheaper ones, take a look at the ez-flash V(+/i), Supercard DS1 or Acekard2
take a look at the GBATemp reviews of these carts
