Hacking Backup Launcher 0.3 Gamma - Noncompatibility List

I'm having a problem when burning a custom GC ISO that is supposed to work on the Wii.

The image is 4.6GB, but when I burn it or mount it with Daemon, it shows up as only 7MB total.

I'm using Imation DVD-Rs and burning at 2x with ImgBurn. This has happened with two different customs games.

i've got, cIOS36 rev 7 as IOS 249 i think... it works with the Gamma Launcher. anyone tell me if thats right? i dont really get the whole IOS 249, 26 etc thing can someone explain, everything backup like works though.

and i've just installed IOS37 as IOS232 so that i can use my rock band instruments on a backup disc.

when it tells you to install it as IOS blah what exactly does it mean?

if i used title deleter/ lister would it show 232 and 249 in this case? and what about the original IOS36 and 37? i take it they arent overwritten because they are important files in the wii right?

sorry if this question comes out crap, i'm real tired lol

I have some bad news: I just tried playing Mushroom Men and it says the disc could not be read!!!!!!!!!!

Why won't this one work?!?!?!?!?!?! NO!!!!!!!!!!

that's why this noncompatibility list idea is dumb.

people don't know if the game isn't on the list because no one has tested the game... or if the game isn't on the list because it worked.

the old way was much better.

Mushroom Men worked for me i beat the first two levels with no problems my wii is ntsc 3.3 with the 0.3 gamma loader on maxell dvd-r at 2x

Couldnt have said it better myself. NFS:UC uses a ios only in 3.4. You have to update for it to work. Either that or use a #7 demodulator. Just shove it in the disk drive and turn it on. It looks like a toaster so youll find it eventually. Bagel.

I am sorry to say it but Mushroom Men does NOT WORK I do not have a modchip and I have over 60 games burned correctly with not one error. They ALL work on gamma for me ; however, Mushroom Men does NOT work, at least the copy that I got didn't. I have yet to see anybody else post on it's status other than that ONE person who claimed that it did. It, however, does not work

I'm beginning to think there is a protection on this game: Mushroom Men: Even with a retry, it gets to the white screen with the wii controller picture and then to a "License by Nintendo" screen, then STOPS and says :The Game Disc could not be read. Refer to the Wii Operations Manual for details.

Nights does not seem to work - everything is fine (title screen, music, file creation) until i click "story mode" and then it freezes...Bad dump or issue w/ the loader (tried it on beta and same issue too).

No it works fine for me, if you wait after the wrist strap screen in connects.

I get the first screen, the wrist strap screen and then nothing happens. How long does it take?

EDIT: Got it to work using the tip in the Compatibility Wiki.

The NTSC-J Version of Fatal Frame 4 (1:1 & decrypted) hangs in (i guess) the 3rd Chapter (when you play as the male Person) when you try to open a door (1st floor) after you meet the ghost in the cellar behind the iron bars.
