not that it matters much anymore but I got the skin editor to work on a dif comp. So I looked at it and it looks fine. I got a much better screen shot now tho:

Ah, testing. Looks like I was spot on on that part. Don't worry, I know how to wait. I waited 4 years to get a slot-1 flash cart, only to have it die in the same year. Most important now is that the staff make life first, and this competition second. Be strong GBAtemp staff!

Seriously, when we finish with our stuff..Read my post above, there is a lots of work to do before we get our final decision on top 20 entries!!
I won't be giving any estimates or dates, because that will only make us to rush even more than we're doing..and we all have stuff to do in real life too..
I have already spent many hours on making lists and testing skins I was interested in (and I believe that it's the same case with the other staff members)

The problem is that most people who entered do not have an edge to test on. I would think the skin software is a bit more forgiving than the actual edge card.
I agree. Most of us that entered skins into this competition don't have EDGE cards. How are we supposed to know if they will look good, or even work on the card?
I agree as well, a lot of people don't have EDGE or CycloDS that you can test them so it can only be tested on edge/cyclo skin editor. So in my opinion it's a bit unfair. Tho I do agree that if transparency don't work correctly like pink edges and so on, then it do count as a turn down because you do actually see these issues on the skin editor, but there might be other faulty graphics that can't be seen on skin editor I believe because colors slightly differs from DS and computer monitor screens.
I would suggest to everyone to have faith in the skin editor, as long as you know that what you see is what you entered, I'm sure it will be ok. As mentioned above you can see the transparency in effect on the skin editor, so it should be all good.
