For Zamo i would reccomend for you needs and your price range the AK2 at

http://dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.11811

it is only $14 with free shipping but you will have to wait abut 2-3 weeks for it, it is the cheapest deal

Programix: Dude i really dont know what to tell you i have no experience or i dont know any people who have the motion sensor flash cart so my opinion really wouldnt be helpful i would wait for either slowking or PharaohsVizier to help you on that one.

Back again with a couple more questions; I hadn't really seen any answers to my previous queries so I'm just going to ask about particular carts instead and see what I can find out.

I've currently got a M3 DS Simply, but due to issues with the firmware not really getting updated anymore (due to the team I guess stopping production on it?) and also because I have a shiny new SDHC 8 gig card I want to try out, I'd like to get a new flashcart. I'm willing to spend up to $50-$75 for the whole kit and kaboodle but I'm torn on what will be best for my needs. I'd love to be able to play GBA games and have heard good things about both the M3 Real and the EZ Flash 5 recently, along with the always popular Cyclo DS. Basically, which cart would you recommend (for decent updates, RTS *although not required*, use of the Sakura firmware *which I've heard is excellent*, etc) for my needs?

(I've also heard some good things about the Cyclo and an item called the EZ 3-in-1, which I believe allows for GBA support. Can anyone illuminate a bit more on this for me?)

Although I'm not sure if it's needed to know, I have a DS Lite (soon to be a new color, but again, not important) that's about 2 years old.

Again, thank you for reading this and I hope to get some good advice on a cart to get. :3

Thanks, but reading the forums at the bottom of the (Dealextreme) page, it seems that the AK2 hardware dies within months. It this still a problem, or has it been fixed.

Thanks again.

From what i have heard and read now that was the first batch of Acekards and now they are all better but if you do not want to take the risk i understand like i said before in my other post the EZ5 and Supercard are both good but for you i would recommend the EZ Flash 5

I've been looking to get a second slot 1 flash cart lately. My R4 is working great, but they don't make those anymore so I need to find a different brand. I'm looking at the DSTT on ishopvideogames.com, but I'm kinda worried that it's a piece of junk of it's less than 10 bux.

Summary:

Is the DSTT a piece of junk? y/n
If yes, what is a better suggestion?

Get a CycloDS with an EZ V 3 in 1 (GBA- browser-ram- and rumble- extension) from realhotstuff. You'll be at your $75 mark, but it's well worth it. Ofcourse the Cyclo can't use Sakura as it's main firmware, but the Cyclos firmware is fast and solid (and the team plans a new GUI in the near future) and you can still use Sakura as a mediaplayer on it. That's what I'm doing.

Use? Mostly games but other media every so often
Price Range? 20-30 US
Slot 1/2? slot 1
Built in or expandable memory? expandable
GBA compatibility? perhaps...
Special features? Good GUI
Any flashcarts you are looking at in particular: Supercard, CycloDS

Basically I've rounded it down to supercard and cyclods, i've read reviews on them both and can't seem to make a good decision.
To me it seems as though supercard has a better GUI.
What matters to me most is the ability to game. I want to be able to access my cheats efficiently, real time save and all that stuff... and of course good compatibility.
I would greatly appreciate any information that would bring me closer to making a decision, thanks in advance.
Also I have taken into account price... from what I understand CycloDS is more expensive. However I am willing to fork out this difference in money if it really is worth it. If not I think I'll just stick to the supercard.

Also heard supercard is literally unskinnable whilst many CycloDS is the reverse... not that this really matters, I mean the supercard GUI looks great anyway! but that's something else that kind of crossed my mind...

Hmm i can tell u the Supercard Ds one gui is horrible. Basicly you will need a big sheet of paper to remember how you activate the features.
Beside that the gui is slow normally, you can try tweak it to be a bit faster thought.

On the cyclo you can actually see and activate features.

If you dont need rts rtc and rtg the Edge is also nice.

If i had to choose between Cyclo and supercard i would choose the cyclo ( i own booth ).

I prefer to use the Edge because i like it more then the cyclo and i dont need RTS.

cyclo ds does not have Real time save or real time cheat does it??

From the review i read it shows the option in the enhanced menu, but it cannot be enabled?

is this true?

imo the supercard GUI does not seem that bad... probably takes a bit longer getting used to than the cyclo, but has pretty much the same features!!
im leaning towards the supercard right now... mainly because it is the cheaper of the two =P

I got an acekard 2 in june and it died on me. I am interested in replacing it but I do not want another acekard. I am looking for something that will work with the acekard save files. I would like a reliable flash cart that I could buy from Deal Extreme. What should I get?

One you can get form DX and one that you will want that is reliable.

I don't know what kind of save files acekard uses, but you can get the EDGE.

EDGE $20.93

It is currently the next choice to the Ace Kard 2. It will remind you of the R4DS. Havent been on GBAtemp so long that I remember nothing about other flashcarts.

It's is similar to the Cyclo DS and R4DS,

That's is all the info I can help you with xPP

Use? GBA roms
Price Range? Not much of an issue really, would like fairly cheap though.
Slot 1/2? Slot 2
Built in or expandable memory? Either
Special features? Unsure.
Any flashcarts you are looking at in particular EZFlash 3in1, eWin GBA expansion, SuperCard MiniSD, SuperCard Lite
Other? I have a Supercard DSOne SDHC (New version) And I'm mainly wanting a GBA pack that has good compatibility with GBA games. I guess I've resigned the fact that I wanted something with a real time clock, as it seems I can't find one that might with with the supercard. I've never messed with slot 2 devices before, so I honestly don't know what to get.. I have looked at the supercard offerings as well.. Someone shed some light? I honestly do NOT plan on using it for the DS browser ram. And I don't need rumble.

For slot-2's (ignore if you want a slot-1): expansion pack or its own memory? Either, expandable would be nice, but i have a feeling, that what I want isn't expandable. If there is an expandable one with good compatibility of GBA roms lemme know.

*edit*
Yeah Real Time Clock isn't important. Realised not many games I'd play use it.

A new Acekard2. Yeah they had bad batches at the time that broke down. You just had bad luck. Now they are abolutely stable and cost like $13.

Well, I guess he should just try another flashcart. Maybe the EDGE?
