This doesn't work with 0.3b of the Backup Loader, but I got it to load up with 0.1.
I gotta say, I'm impressed. This isn't the deepest fighter on the Wii for certain, but it's still a lot of fun. Atleast to me, some people think I'm too easy to please.
The game isn't just a waggle fest. I mean you can, and you swing fast and rapid, but if they block then there's no point. You need to swing in certain directions in order to do certain combos. Like Obi-Wan has one that's Left, Right, Left, Down which ends with a nice, damaging attack. The force plays a minimal role in the fights. You can grab fallen debris around the environment to chuck at your opponent, you can do a Force Push which seems useless. It's mostly Saber combat here.
The stages themselves are interesting. I've only done the first two Campaign fights at this point, and they both had their own little thing. The first one had a bunch of Clone Troopers and Droidekas going at it in the background, but their fighting actually hit us occasionally. Like as I was attacking Ventress, a Droideka shot me in the back a few times before another Clone Trooper got it off. Is a neat touch.
I love the graphics too. The models came straight outta the animation. Save for the HD look of the animation, they're the exact same. I was just on a walkway with the moon out on whatever planet this was, and it looked nice. They nailed the look of the series perfectly.
Again, this isn't the most complex fighter ever, but it's certainly the most interesting outta all the ones built for the Wii from the ground up. Give this a shot if you're even midly interested, it should keep you occupied for a bit at least.
*Oh, a detail I left out, the characters are different in a few ways. I noticed during the Ventress fights for example, she constantly kept switching her saber from staff to two sabers and then recombining them to staff again. And Dooku tried to use Force Lightning on me. They aren't just cosmetic looks for whoever you are.
**Oh my god finally a game where General Grevious DOESN'T SUCK!
