Cruisin' JJF is harder than Hard Rock! JJF because of the hit markers. They're nearly the same (sans the size of the markers), but Cruisin' is more distanced, so you'll be moving across the screen more often.
have u ever played hard rock? no? so shut up.

Finally beaten the game with the Divas on Hard Rock!
Sweatin' was harder than Hard Rock! or Sweatin' got me prepared for Hard Rock!

I have to say... this game is addicting as hell and damn good.

I am now ranked Legendary Agent and have unlocked "Survivor" song originally sang by Destiny's Child.
When people say JJF and ABC are brutal on Hard Rock!... some of you obviously haven't unlocked "Survivor"

Not sure how many more ranks there are but I'll try and reach the highest.

I give this game a 10/10 Replay Value

And a hell of a game to play vs friends

You two obviously don't like "losing/dieing or getting game over"
Playing a game where there is a challenge to be had is obviously not for you.

This is one of those where "Practice" makes perfect and satisfaction comes from it.
The songs vary from Decent - Good which also makes the game more enjoyable.

Go piss elsewhere if you can be bothered replying trash on an obviously very popular game.

Cheers

Well, Its just I was replying to the title of the thread..

I prefer games which you get satisfaction from playing a song properly, such as Guitar hero.. I dont see what the hype is about this game, I dont like the whole touch the screen when the ring reaches the button.. Its just not cool..

Most people obviously like it and thats fine, Its just Im allowed to have my say in the matter and whatever you say about that you cant change my mind

And a losing/ dying game would be like Castlevania, Guitar Hero, EXIT DS and Final Fantasy.. I love those games and you cant say that you cant lose in that..

And its all repetitive.. And the songs are lame, IMO..

Maybe if the songs were better and the vids werent so corny, I would like it..

btw, Maybe, if your going to piss on us first, try looking at how highly regarded we are compared to you.. We both are valued contributors to the forums.

I love the Ouendan/EBA series, but I have to agree, the songs are pretty lame in EBA. I enjoyed Ouendan a lot more than EBA, and I found it to be much more challenging JJF was tough but Ready Steady Go had me ready to kill! Sadly, I haven't found time to play Ouendan 2 as of yet, but one of these days I'll get back into the groove.

Priss you're so full of yourself. I can't speak for one of them but I've seen enough of Takam's posts to know there's not a gaming coward in there. The problem is exclusively with EBA as it's a love it or hate it game with little room in between. You can really end up loving it over the cheezy material and the gameplay, or hating it over either of those. I for one like the cheese but absolutely hate how the touch mechanic works on it because it's just a stupid fight in the later stages even on easy mode. Stuff tends to overlap and it comes down to stupid memorization instead of timing almost which is very aggravating on Jumpin Jack Flash at the end. I for one am good enough with timing stuff and hard games, but this one I can't nail even on easy mode that tune at all because over the crazy timing and overlap, also I can't seem to quite sync where the clear stylus tip makes contact with the screen so I'm not terribly accurate (I'll get perfects but B ranks due to 100s and 50s.)

EBA I only now own just because Toys R Us was clearing them out for $5 as they couldn't sell them at $20. I pick away at it casually when I'm bored as I like a few of the tunes, in particular things like Highway Star, Jumpin Jack Flash, YMCA, and a few others.

I agreed with your post up to here. Red herring much? I personally haven't heard of you outside the cheat compilation.

Everyone's opinion should matter equally here.

Now I don't agree for the most part. I agree that the songs on EBA are terrible, to say the least, in iNiS' pseudo-Western "localization" of Ouendan (a game with comparatively better songs and stages, frankly). However, judging a game solely on embarrassing tracks is just a bit below agreeable. I play a game because it's fun, and I find shameless amusement in doing so, and I don't feel self-conscious while doing so. If it's fun to me, I play it. As for the whole touch-rhythm thing, you'll understand how it goes once you get out of the second difficulty onto the third and fourth, the hard and very hard difficulty stages (AKA Sweatin' & HARD Rock! in EBA), the beats will flow together much more smoothly and understandably.

Games like these only really grab your attention if you put the time and practice into getting into the hard/very hard difficulty modes, and if you throw away some tenaciously latched "MATURE GAEMS FOR MATURE GAEMRS" attitude that a lot of people seem to have today. That perception fails in a lot of cases nowadays. For example, Pokemon. Animal Crossing. Any of those that hold the attention of mostly young, but still are enjoyed by some older people. I guess EBA falls into this modicum of games.

tl;dr - Fun has lost all meaning.

Anyhow, I don't know what the hell you're talking about when you mention playing a song "properly." How about getting an actual instrument?

I thought I would push someones button calling it complete shit, but what can I say, it's how I feel.
I don't really feel like defending my opinion so I'm not really gonna go into it, it's just not my type of game, if you enjoy it then good for you.
Just don't make assumptions about me, don't talk to me about challenge or practice making perfect, you should see the hours I put into speed running and perfecting techniques in games like super metroid- but you're probably to busy using your stylus to dance to the crooked beat of avril lavigne
