yeh i agree with you gaboumafou - never played oblivion or any rpg games like this, figred to weird, but beat this game only a few side quests left and DEF be considered for GOTY. great visuals, audio in the subway, scared the s*** outta me, story was great, the option to do good/bad. never thought it'd be so good. if anyone could tell me where the oasis mission is at, that'd be great lol, i know it's near the north but can't figure out where

I found it on a torrent site, but...wow, almost 8 gigs in size. That'll burn through two days of bandwidth right away.

I'll wait for now. I most certainly can't play it on this laptop anyway!

I picked my copy up yesterday (I'm still researching how to flash my xbox) and haven't had much time to play between work and school. The time I did get to play, however was nothing but bliss. I had the vault 101 security gear on when I left the Vault and it reminded me of Judge Dredd, bringing law to the lawless, lol!

Anyways, I've just about bleed Megaton dry of caps and I'm basically bartering for supplies! Anyone know how the vendors get more caps?

So... today is the release day of Fallout 3. Has anyone yet found info, wether the 3 weeks old "review copy" is identical with the final retail release?

I've been waiting for a "sci fi" RPG since Oblivion.

I thought Mass Effect was it. It was a great, great game, I played it through 4 times but it just didnt seem to have the depth of Oblivion.

Fallout 3 has everything from Oblivion & more!
Its really great!

After trying the seed4me rip of it I can definatly say that this is one 360 game I'll be buying on release day....

I feel that Bethesda(sp?) deserve my money!

Great, I didn't have to know more! I'm buying this one!

I loved Oblivion, it's just so freaking big, I love it.
I'm sure I'll love this one too, tnx to your post

What are your specs? I'm hoping I'll be able to achieve something like that. Eurgh, now I'm gonna be wanting this when I should be occupying myself with Far Cry 2!

2.4Ghz Core 2 Duo
2GB DDR2 RAM
8800GT

Runs perfectly with that setup. Basically however oblivion ran this'll run similar.

Has anyone play the 360 version? Considering this part of the forum is about the 360 not the PC. You lot can take our PC talk where it belongs, and that certainly isn't here.

But we're all lonely in the PC thread, no-one comes to visit us

Besides, we're talking about the same game! Or are you just jealous of our high-res screenshots?

Oh, and good news on the specs, I should be able to run it all at max then
